We made the call at 5 pm and they arrived at 8 pm. The job was done very quickly and efficiently.

My main water line started leaking. Had probably been leaking for a few days but I noticed it on a Saturday. My son and I dug up the line (about 2 feet underground) and found the pipe leaking. We called several other plumbers (on this list) and couldn't get any help because it was Saturday. Finally called Mr. Rooter and they said they had a man just finishing up another job and he could be out in about an hour. They also told me they would call and let me know when he was on the way. They not only called to tell me the plumber was on his way but, they also told me the exact time he would be there!



The plumber arrived and took a look at the situation. He went back to his truck to make sure he had all the necessary parts. Came back and made the repairs. Whole job took little more than an hour. I thought the price was very reasonable for this type job and this company doesn't charge extra for weekend work unlike other companies!



Plumber was very professional in manner and appearance. Would highly recommend this company and will gladly use again should the need arise.

Technicians (Mark and Roger) came out, located and exposed the cover for septic tank, ran camera up pipe into house to determine condition and visually inspected tank. Explained how the tank functions in conjunction with drain field. Provided report. Office staff, Dawn very helpful with scheduling as we had a very slim window of time.

It was out of my league price wise, but the plumber was very nice and professional.

Great Job! I had a very slow draining tub. After unsuccessfully attempting to unclog the drain with a coat hanger I made an appointment with Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Mark from Mr. Rooter soon found that the problem was an issue with the way the original drain pipes were put together which caused the pipe to eventually clog. Mark unclogged the pipe and corrected the original flaw by replacing some of the pipe system. Mark was very polite and professional. He was careful to put shoe covers on whenever he came inside.
I am so glad that I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing. If I ever need a plumber in the future I will not hesitate to call Mr. Rooter Plumbing again.

Calvin did a great job, he found a few problems but no leaks. then he gave us a estiamate of price on a few things that should be repaired or updated.We had some of them done right then. We were not sure if the water heater was working or not where it was a  new home to us, Calvin checked it out throughly & found out it was fine. They are very clean & keep your house clean.

We’re looking at doing some work with Mr. Rooter Plumbing later on. We called them out for another job and they gave some suggestions and recommendations that made them think about actually doing a little bit more add tenses but more solved problem. We have a slow clogged drain and they gave us a price on unclogging that but there was no guarantee because it’s an old line.  They suggested putting in a different pipe that will solve the issue, PVC instead of an old line that would corrode. Mr. Rooter Plumbing was excellent and very customer friendly. The advertisement on their web site is exactly what to expect when they’ll get to the house. They give you a quote before they do the job, protect your home before they walk through because they put on a footie and the person show up in uniform. Everything that was advertised in the website was what I experienced. They gave us a target time but they didn’t call. When they did call, they told us exactly what time the technician will be there and they got there two minutes prior the agreed upon time that they’ll be there. That’s fair.

The technician was very professional and fixed the problem.

Leak in shower. Replaced the "mixer" and the faucet. Had to go through the closet wall. He did a good job but we thought the price was on the high side. He was prompt in taking care of our problem.

Did what they said they would do... On time. Charged $137.50 for 5 minuyes work.

A copper pipe burst due to cold weather. The plumber replaced the copper pipe with a PVC pipe. Because of the tight location he didn't feel comfortable using a torch to weld a copper pipe. Perhaps $200 for 30 minutes is the going rate for plumbers, but the price seemed high to me. I'm not sure if I would use them again.

My name is Amanda Wilkinson; using my friends Angie's List subscription to locate and review.   My house is fairly old and with cast iron pipes.  Told him my problems; he glanced into bathroom.  Wrote an estimate for running a line through drains.  Informed me that if that didn't work he would have to go deeper.  Told me of a drain cleaner I could use.  Never looked at anything or under the house. He was there a total of 20 minutes.  Pretty sure he could have done as much via the phone.  I didn't find this to be a very professional or useful visit and a waste of my time.

The service guy went under the house to replace busted water pipe. Very effeciant and professional. Would recommend.

You can tell by the price that I was not charged premium rates.

We have had a Mr. Rooter plumber (Calvin) at our home on numerous occasions performing the work listed above.  We have been completely satisfied every time with the professionalism and quality of work.  All work was completed quickly and we have never felt more work was suggested than was actually needed.  Further, the office staff is friendly and helpful.  We will use this company for all of our plumbing needs in the future.

Arrived within the quoted time frame - within the first half-hour of it.
Quickly diagnosed the issues and provided quote from price book the tech had referred to. While some may not like the idea of a fixed rate for a given problem (excluding unexpected issues), I think it's a good thing. I prefer not to work with a service repairman when you can see the wheels turning as they try and pull a number out of the air to quote you. Mr. Rooter avoids this with a standardized charge book.
Bathtub faucet began as the usual "seats and springs" needing replacement. Apparently the high chlorine content of our water, along with mineral build up, is h****** the seats causing cracking and loss of a water tight seal.
However, as Chris pulled out the second valve, he saw what appeared to be a pebble in the supply line that had risen up with the residual water flow but fell back down. Access to the supply pipes under that tub is ridiculously poor, as was the original installation work. Chris was hesitant with my suggestion of turning the water back on and blasting it out, warning me that we would have water all over. But with some improvisation we came up with a viable plan and out came three sizable pieces of solder from the installer's sloppy workmanship. Mission accomplished. The mess wasn't too bad and I was glad to have that junk out of the line.
Toilet tank fill valve was straightforward. Although, after everything was done, I asked if Chris wouldn't mind checking on things one last time. I always have the kind of luck that something goes wrong after the repairman leaves. Chris noticed that the new flapper valve wasn't seating correctly due to a defect in the rubber flange and popped a new one on.
I appreciated Chris' willingness to discuss the issues with me and provide some tips to help me fight the never ending effort of home maintenance with regard to our plumbing. The only thing I wasn't totally happy with was the pitch at the end of the call to replace all of our water supply lines with their special supply hoses. For my home it would have been around $800.
Yes, I agree with the crappy lines installed in my home (and most homes) and have already replaced those on the washing machine myself. And I would much rather do the others myself with metal/braided supply hoses than spend $800. I am always skeptical of claims of superiority for anything or "exclusively available only to industry". Show me a head to head comparison that backs up that claim with proof. So I agree it should be done, but not for that price.
Overall, I would definitely call Mr. Rooter again. It's only been a few days, but the repairs seem to be doing fine and in the end, that's what I paid for. Thanks Chris.

Great!  The provider responded very quickly (within the hour!), with all tools and materials required to complete the work.  The provider was prompt, courteous and very competent.  Did a great job!

EXTREMELY well.  I called on a Monday morning and they were there at noon. John, who came initially, diagnosed the problem as soon as he walked in the door. We located the access point and he used a snake to try to get to the blockage but 100 feet later he hadn't  reached it. He called for re-inforcements after giving me all the options. I decided to go with a jet cleaner to blow it out and the owner of the company himself arrived with the equipment in 30 minutes. After clearing the line they put a camera down in it to make sure it was clear and that there was no damage (I have the cleanest sewer pipe in the county I think!). I got to watch so I saw for myself that everything was in good shape. Then before leaving they put a new top back on the access point (my yard person had accidentally run over it) and with my $20 off coupon from Angie's List the new cap was almost free!
Both gentlemen were expert, professional, and personable. I would not hesitate to call Mr Rooter in Anderson again anytime!
