Well, I didn't get to the service because the service person could not arrive in the allocated time window. I had used this service once before and ran into the exact same problem. But I was very happy with the quality of the parts used and the technical execution of the job so I I thought I would try them again. The folks on the phone are nice too! But, if you are going to schedule work and make appointments, then I expect someone to arrive in the scheduled time slot. We have stayed home (twice) all day and no-shows are just unacceptable. I received a call saying that "they haven't forgotten about us" and service will arrive a little late but no one ever arrived. I clearly understand that the service person may run into unexpected issues on a previous job. But time windows should not be scheduled if they are understaffed to execute the work. A better system would be to arrange for a call when they are 2 hours out and are certain of the arrival time.

Having a lake house in a rather rural area has it's pros and cons.  One of the disadvantages is that it can be hard to find reliable professional services (like plumbing, building, electrical, etc.).  Mr. Rooter is an exception.  Each time I called them, they responded quickly and appropriately, sending highly qualified professionals to the house.  One of the times was on a weekend and their answering service quickly connected me to the plumber on call.  The third time I called them was to address a symptom created by the second fix -- and Will Holcombe was a total pro in both diagnosing, fixing and taking responsibility for the problem.  Not every plumbing fix is perfect (lots of variables and things even the best plumbers cannot see in the walls, etc.) and he was extremely reasonable and honest about a flaw in a gasket that he had previously installed (which created a new leak).  Will found the problem, created a new solution using calk in place of the gasket and the toilet no longer leaks.  I was really impressed by Will's approach, abilities and general professionalism.  He worked quickly and confidently, making sure to solve the problem while being very tidy and careful to avoid mess in a newly remodeled bathroom.   I understand that Will is moving away and will no longer be working with Mr. Rooter in Anderson, SC.  I know he'll be an asset at the next company he joins and wish him the best of luck.  Will (and Mr. Rooter), thanks again for the help, the good work and, importantly, for being nice people.

We called they came out next day, serviced next day. Did as described, but put hay and grass seed down without leveling earth. Left tracker ruts and clumps. Disappointed there.

It was a simple job, they had to order and install a new pipe. The actual work took about 5 minutes.

Excellent, we have trusted them for repairs on many of our rental units. Technician is professional, shows up when they say they will, and clean.

There was a slow leak in a finished basement wall.  Made an appointment two days prior for a Saturday morning.  Mr. Alfonso Dimas called ahead and arrived promptly.  He attempted to find the leak that appeared to be coming from an enclosed  wall area.  He recommended a leak detection company to find the specific location of the leak prior to any repairs..  At my request, he installed two ball valves in copper piping  in a attempt to control the water flow to the area where the leak appeared to originate.  
Mr. Dimas was professional and efficient.  Would use their services again.  I seldom need plumbing services, so I do not have a current  reference for pricing this service.  The price seemed to be a tad high, so I awarded them a C for pricing.

I awoke to find no water pressure in any of the faucets and quickly realized the main water line to the house had failed and was flooding where it's attached at one of the walls of the house.  After quickly turning off the water main to the house, I searched Angie's list to find a reputable plumber in the area and found Mr. Rooter.  I was immediately able to reach somebody at Mr. Rooter who made a few calls and promptly called me back confirming that a plumber was en route (literally within an hour of calling).  Two trained plumbers (one with 30 years of experience) arrived as expected, and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem.  They had all necessary parts with them on the truck and the problem was solved much faster than I expected.  Given that the house is in a rural area (holiday lake house), I was not expecting such quick and professional service.  I was totally impressed. Thanks Mr. Rooter.  You have a new long term customer!

Michael was professional, punctual and courteous. I followed him around everywhere asking questions and he patiently answered them. After a thorough examination he concluded that the cause of the problem was the detergent I was using and made some recommendations that I should implement to solve the problem. I am very impressed with Michael, and the next time I need a plumber I will ask for him personally.

Arrived within an hour or so of our call on Sunday.  We were pleased as we were supposed to go out of town next day. He was quick, very knowlegeable and professional.
