At first glance, Locke Design appeared professional and confident of handling the project I gave them. However, the design phase was a disaster. After the consultation where the designer/owner took numerous notes on the basic design inspiration I provided, the initial proof did not reflect the specific details discussed in the meeting. When contact was made to correct the design, I received snide comments and was belittled for my specific requests. After losing confidence in their ability I paid extra for a preproduction proof, which was satisfactory. The final product received did not match the proof. At this point, I met with the designer/owner to see what course of action could be taken. The response I received was "This is not for the d*** White House. Your customers are not going to open the invitation and say what the f*** is this?" At that point the door was opened and I was dismissed from the office. No paying customer should ever receive this type of treatment; to say it was unprofessional is an understatement. To date, there has been no contact of apology received.
