I could not be more pleased with the job done by Harris. They installed a tiled floor in our kitchen (a little over 500 square feet) along with replacing our backsplash. They were punctual, clean and organized and the work was done with quality workmanship in my opinion. Completed the work when they said they would and it was a pleasure working with the salesman, Paul Embler.Job took 4 days and when they left it looked like they were never there expect for the beautiful floor.

I had called an installer recommended by a tile installer. He told me that he was busy and he called Harris carpet. They called me to schedule a date for an estimate. William Brockelbank came when scheduled and gave me the estimate. Teresa called to obtain full payment before scheduling a date for the installers. I already had the flooring. She required full payment on a credit card and would charge the job that day. I questioned credit card payment two weeks before the floor would be completed. Her reply, that's the way we do it. As stated before, I was paying for labor, not materials. I didn't want to take the time to find another installer so scheduled . I also asked if installer could help me move a grandfather clock. Reply, there will be a charge for that.
The installers came when scheduled and did a great job. They were courteous, hard workers, and professional. I would use them in the future and recommend them. They are contractors, not employees of Harris. I wouldn't use Harris mainly b/c of their payment demand.

We feel that our years in business (66), local community involvement, A+ BBB rating, and our commitment to customer satisfaction allows us to collect all money before services are rendered. We strive to offer a unique shopping experience by offering as many services necessary to complete the job. Unfortunately grandfather clocks are a very special item and are very easy to break, therefore we do not allow our installers to move. The charge you are speaking of would be for another company to move the item. We believe our job as a specialty retailer is to communicate all sensitive items to the consumer before the consumer decides to do business with us, it is then our job to deliver on the promises made to the consumer. If you feel we did not deliver on "All" our promises made before contracting us then please give us a call. We would love the opportunity to earn your satisfaction."

They did an outstanding job. They were on time. They cleaned up behind themselves. They did not have any added fees. They stuck with the price they quoted me. This is the third time we've had them do something for us. They put the carpet in the living room and three years later, we had them to clean our carpets and then they put the floors in the bathroom and kitchen.

Harris Carpets came out almost immediately and did it in 2 days. Their supplier shipped them the wrong wood and they got on the phone with them and got new wood right away and worked until they were done so that I got new wood floors after only 2 days.

We have not had it installed yet, but they were outstanding. They put in our carpet 2 years ago.
