A great experience from beginning to end! Estimator Donna was clearly experienced and had some great ideas for our closet in our new home. Installer Pierce did an excellent job on the install. Nice quality components. There was a minor issue with one cabinet door that was came damaged. A temporary replacement was installed and the new part came quickly. I was impressed with how this issue was handled.

The price was far lower than the other bids we received, and service was exceptional. Mary -- our outstanding designer -- came to our house on at least occasions to ensure that the project was done perfectly. (Other companies refused to come on site.) Both product and service have far exceeded our expectations -- as did the low price.

The Master Bedroom closet went without any issues and was completed on time.  The installer was extremely courteous.  The designer did a perfect job meeting my needs.
The office was a custom job, since I designed it.  The designer worked with me to ensure she was meeting my needs.  It was an iterative process, as it was extremely complex.  I did not get other quotes as I knew Carolina Closets was the route I wanted to go.  The price is fair, I think based on what I know about cabinetry and the custom things that are a bit more difficult to achieve.
I had the same installer for this job who noted it was the most challenging job he has done.  It came out perfectly though, and meets or exceeds my requirements.  There is a small issue with the glass supplier for the glass doors, so they are slightly back-ordered, but I know they will get it right. 
The designer was always quick to respond and dealt with any issues that came up.  I would recommend the Carolina Closets team to anyone who has custom closet, storage, or cabinet system needs.

As a home decorator, I am often called upon to be the Project Manager for home renovations.  I recommended this company to a client.  They represented me poorly.  They did not stay in touch with me as promised, they did not follow through with the job.  They changed personnel in the middle of the job and would not discuss the job with me. My client was very displeased and when I tried to follow up everyone who had worked on the job had left the company.  NO ONE knew anything about the job that had been poorly done.
NCI have never experienced such lack of concern.

It was good. They were prompt and courteous. They did it just like it was requested.

The end product is lovely and is exactly what we wanted.  The price seems fair, although we did not shop around.  Be  very careful and confirm in writing exactly what you want and double...triple check all of the measurements.  We had a designer in to measure and suggest and I thought we had a good understanding of what was needed.  When the CAD drawings came back for me to confirm, the measurements were wrong, the color of the insets was wrong, and the fixtures were wrong.  It took two additional iterations to get it correct.  Then when it was installed, it was still installed wrong and we had to have them back to fix the installation.  I don't fault the installers.  They were very professional and did exactly what was written on their copy of the CAD drawing.  The problem was that their copy and what we had agreed was the final copy did not match.
The product is good.  We would use them again, despite all of the aggravation.  They were quick to repair their mistakes.  As a consumer, it is up to you to be absolutely certain that you know what you are getting and that you have it in writing.

We were living in Fl and buying in South Carolina. Donna came the day of closing to design the 3 spaces and had a design and price within 24 hours. We were able to order the rooms and they were ready for install in 3 weeks  when we actually moved to SC. They matched my kitchen cabinets beautifully and even made a space in the pantry for my 3 dogs to eat. The master closet has added so much more storage space. We will be using them again in the future.

First we went to three vendors to provide drawings of what the closet would look like after the job was completed. Along with drawings we also requested a quote for all three vendors. We had Carolina Closet go back two times to revise the drawings as well as the quote. They were most responsive. We worked directly with Mr. Dave Walker. Mr. Walker is based in their Arden Office which is located near the Asheville, NC airport. They have a large showroom on site to see all the options and colors.
We had drawers, belt rack, vallet bar installed along with shoe racks and a jewelry drawer installed. We had picked a walnut base color along with ORB  We also had a large storage bin installed for our bed covers, since it was always a problem with what to do with them.  Other vendors could not or would not supply this bin with a lid. The installer was on time and very neat during the install. It took about 4.5 hrs for the install but he was very good and cleaned up before he left.
We were very pleased with their service. In fact this month they are coming back and doing additional closet work for us !
I would recommend them again to any prospective client. We are having them come back to do an additional closet, which is smaller than the Master one. I would recommend them to anyone.

They are very good. I like their professionalism and skills in getting it done. The pantry room has a whole lot room after we got them to do that. They knew their products. They were very quick in installing because they knew what their clientele wants before installing the final product. The job is well done. It looks very good and lasting very well. It’s been good five to six years since I have those closets done.

Estimator (Dave) came out on a Sunday, a long drive from his office.  We also had a competitor come and provide an estimate.  This company's product had a few features that were better than the competition.  Product quality and installation very good.  Price was competitive.

I was perfectly happy with them. He came in and measured the closets. We talked about what we wanted in the closets and how we wanted them to work for us. He did a layout and gave me a quote. A couple of weeks later he came and installed everything.

Excellent, fast efficient and courteous.
