Boone Appliance Repair

Called Troy and left a message. He called back in a reasonable period of time. He asked for symptoms of problem. I gave him the error code which he researched. He called back shortly with details of what that error code could mean for the make and model of my oven. He indicated the temperature probe could be bad or another component (controller?) may also be bad. Said the probe could be replaced but that if controller failed that it would be better to replace oven. I authorized probe replacement. He showed up as promised and did exactly what he said he would do. Error code did not reappear and oven worked for cooking Thanksgiving dinner! Error code reappeared shortly after Thanksgiving and we opted to replace oven with a new unit. We had discussed this possibility with Troy during his visit and he suggested several different models that he had experience with that he knew were of good quality. I think he accurately portrayed the situation to us before he replaced the probe - opting to do that rather than replace the oven initially was my decision. I plan to use Troy again in the future for my other appliance repair needs.

Very friendly, personable and professional demeanor. I'm new in town so was a little leery of having to make a substantial purchase so quickly. The price was extremely reasonable...and he would have made more money if he had suggested the repair! He called exactly when he said he would to confirm delivery and was prompt. He was very careful when removing my old machine (at no charge) and replacing it with the new one. He asked for a small towel and wiped up the water that leaked out of the hoses! I've NEVER had a delivery person do that before! He even stayed to test all cycles of the washer to make sure that it functioned well.....and they give a 60 day warrantee! I heartily recommend this firm and Mr. Troy Boone. I will definitely do business there again!

He fixed my mom's washer and repaired the refridgerator. He also fixed an air conditioner. He was punctual, honest, did the work as expected. He is a very nice Christian man. His prices are fair.
