Car died in Aiken after hours, no known repair shops. Used Angie's list for recommendations. Arranged a tow, work performed next day. Other than an overwhelmed person answering the phone, the work was done in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. Will be using again for normal oil changes and light maintenance.

I originally set up an appointment online in April for a May 11th date. I received an email back stating I would be contacted shortly for confirmation. I called the next day after no one called me back and was told the person that handled online appointments was on vacation and no one else had access to the system. So I gave all the information again to the receptionist.. I was concerned about my air conditioner making noise, my front brakes, a headlight that was not aligned and I also needed an oil change. She took all the info and made the appointment for the 11th. I came in on May 11th and gave the receptionist all the info again. My car was taken to the shop on time and a gentleman, which I assumed was the owner, kept me informed of each step. He was very honest about what they could not do and what did not need to be done. I had had problems before with dealerships and auto shops telling me I needed brakes starting at 60,000 miles and continuing about every couple thousand miles. I was getting conflicting info because they wanted to make money. I never had any problems with the brakes but they all said I needed them replaced. After he explained everything the only thing I ended up actually needing was an oil change and the headlight adjusted. I will be taking my car to the dealership for the adjustment and I'm sure they will tell me I need brakes. At last!! An auto service that is not out to con women. I will not only bring my car back but I will also tell my female friends where they can get honest work done.

I had called the ford dealer and goodyear to ask approx. costs to add freon. Both quoted 125.00 plus freon costs. I called Tyler tire and they quoted 100,00 total. I made an sppointment. Typer said it would take 1 hour. I waited and it was 50 minutes and I walked out of there and the cost was 62.00. I have delt with Tyler on Whiskey Road for years. They have always perfermed great work and within the time frame they quote. Johnnie there is up front to the point and tell it like it is. That is very refreshing to me as I do not like any surpries.
Great job.

Synthetic oil change and fixed leaking tires. I had an appointment and they took it right away when I got there. They were very professional and diligent in their efforts.

Tyler's technicians provided me an expert assessment of the condition of my rear brakes and an estimate for proposed repair. I chose not to do the repair immediately and asked the manager how much I owed for the assessment. He said there was no charge for the check up. I was very impressed and intend to bring my car back for future repairs and for new tires.

I knew the motor mounts were bad, but upon inspection, Tyler's found that one of them had completely broken apart. They gave me an estimate before they did the work.

They do all of my automotive maintenance. They use synthetic oil in my oil change. They do check the fluids also. They are very honest and straight forward.

Tony has a great sense of humor. They didn't find anything wrong with my car, so they didn't charge me.

They don't try to sell you for a complete overhaul on your car when you just need an oil change. When you go in they rotate your tires for free every time. Sometimes I sit and wait for hours but that is my fault because I don't make an appointment. Its a safe place and I feel comfortable there.

I went in one day. Johnny looked at the truck so he could order the right parts. I made an appointment to bring the truck back the next day. The parts came in as promised and service was performed. Good price. Job done right. If I have one complaint, it is that I asked them to call me when the truck was ready. They didn't. I had to call them. In their defense, we have just moved to Aiken so I don't have a local number, only a Dallas cell phone number so maybe that was the issue. But I will definitely continue to use them.
Oh ... almost left out the best part. Either they, or someone else, sells peaches in their parking lot. The "inventory" is kept in the tire shop. As I am walking out, man says "That your Texas truck?" "Yessir." "Well here, enjoy some of our delicious South Carolina peaches!" Gave them to me! I had been here five weeks and hadn't had a chance to sample fresh SC peaches yet. Not sure if Tyler's should get credit for that but it was pretty nice.

We have taken our cars here over the years. They are great people to work with. They will always be honest and upfront with us about our needs; and weather or not a tire needs to be replaced or just plugged. I highly suggest them to all my friends.
