Description of Work: A construction loan. This Bank has part of their operation in Richmond, Va. and Gainsville, Ga. The local office tells you one thing and the other offices tell you something different. If you want this kind of loan, be sure you get your own appraisal of the property BEFORE you sign a contract with your builder. We unfortunately did not and the bank demanded a copy of the contract before hiring an appraiser who gave a low value to the home and property so that we had to come up with extra money which the bank didn't tell us about until we sat down with the settlement attorney. We will never use SUNTRUST BANK again for anything.
