The experience was less stressful than I had imagined. Robert was very easy to work with. He was always calm and professional. He could sense that I was nervous about the budget and was helpful guiding me along the way, to make sure my selections stayed within budget. He communicated frequently and freely about expenses, options, and alternatives. The house was old, so we prepared for the worst. There were allotments to repair or replace woodrot found during the project. Although we found moderate damage, there were no major surprises along the way and the entire process went smoothly. Robert was precise and accurate about how long each room would not be useable. Demolition and prep work took some time, but he made sure everyone was ready when our only bathroom was shut down on a Tuesday. the tub was replaced, the tile was laid down and set. then THAT Friday, the plumbers returned to tie in all the plumbing. We had a working bathroom by lunchtime. All of the subcontractors he brought in were friendly, hard working and skilled craftsmen. In the end, the entire project (+or- $500.00) was right on budget.
