I called Palmetto on a Friday afternoon and even though they were booked until 6pm, they said a service man would try to come out. He called like they said he would, came early, and fixed the unit (just needed more freon and checked for a leak). He seemed very knowledgeable and polite.

Service went well. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional, he was respectful of my home and property. I will definitely continue to use them for service including routine maintenance and would recommend them.

The service went very well. I like their professionalism and they seem to have a very good understanding of what we needed. They are fine but the guy took a little more time, he acted that he really thought about what was needed.

My main complaints are that it took repeated repair calls to diagnose the problem, that only one of four repairmen sent out to us (an annoyance in itself) could even begin to explain what was going on, and that when the owner said he'd take care of the repair personally, he didn't. I'm also not sure I've seen the final bill, or, for that matter, that the company finished up everything (there's still a Honeywell panel open in one of our closets) and because we were out of town, I don't know if a promised final visit occurred.
On the plus side, all the repairmen were pretty punctual, and all of them were unfailingly polite.
