Excellent and timely work.

They came right before closing, because that, of course is when it happened. McNeil went above and beyond in their service. Not only did they fix the problem, they made sure it would never happen again, without charging us extra.

They were great. They were not the first plummers we called that Friday but the previous guys we used would not come out until Monday and I imagined we would have sewage in the basement by then. McNeills responded quickly and they were great. The problem was not as bad as we had thought and the cost was reasonable. They will be the first that we call in the future

After dumping some main line cleaner down several slow drains in our home, we had an issue with water backing up into the showers while guests were in our home a couple of days later. One bath fail to drain out into the septic tank and was backing up into the other. We had just had our septic tank pumped 10 days prior so I knew the tank was not the problem. I called plumbers starting late at night on 12/26 and on into the morning of 12/27 with multiple companies telling me they had no availability to come for several days. One company finally was kind enough to ask who I had called and suggested McNeill's as a reputable plumber in the area. MacNeill's was able to send a plumber out within a couple hours. They ran the motorized snake with the chopper blades down our main line from outside the house and chopped up a lot of roots located just a few feet up the drain from the septic tank. We gather that the main line cleaner we used loosened hair and other debris from the various pipes and it was all caught up in the roots at the end of the main line creating a major blockage which was revealed by the excess load on the plumbing when there were suddenly four extra people in our home. The plumber was also able to advise us that our main line was comprised of cast iron pipes which had been compromised pretty severely by the roots and he advised that we might wish to consider replacing the pipe. He was able to estimate the approximate cost of that repair but did not push us to have it done right at that time. He only advised that a continuation of the issue at a later date would be best solved by that pipe's replacement. They were able to accept credit cards and provided an invoice on the spot. I found them to be very professional and well priced and I was extremely grateful that they were willing and able to come out so quickly when no less than four other plumbers in Aiken had brushed me off by that point.

I called and got an appointment for that day. Plumber showed up on time, very courteous and listened to what I needed doing. Everyone, from the person answering the phone to the plumber who showed up was a class act. With service that responsive and professional, I expected to pay an arm and a leg, but the bill was actually less than I anticipated. I will DEFINITELY be using this company again.

They're excellent. They came in and were efficient. They did the job with what they quoted me. There was not a problem and they showed up on time. They were rated #1 last year on the "Best of the Best".

I received several quotes and McNeil was the most competitive. They showed up as promised and completed the work in a day. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. I would use them again in the future.

They did a nice job on the house. I had them here for a problem a couple years ago and they did a little more extensive work because of where it was. It was a good job at a good price. They know my house like the back of their hand so I will continue to use them.

My call to the office was picked up immediately by a very pleasant lady, who scheduled an appointment for the following morning. Mr. McNeill and his assistant were exactly on time and went straight to work, diagnosing the problems. Because I had been unable to tell them the name of the shower faucet maker, which turned out to be an unusual brand, they needed to go to the supply store to get the necessary parts. They were gone about a half hour, as promised.

They were very knowledgeable about the effect of well-water on valves, which was the main problem with my shower. They also volunteered advice about how to avoid a recurrence of the problem, which I appreciated.

Apparently, someone had previously tried to fix the shower, but used incorrectly sized parts. They showed me the parts and explained the problem.

The repairs themselves were fairly quick and I would not hesitate to use this company again.
