Late Sunday night, I had to turn off the water.  My floor was vibrating and making an odd humming noise.  It wasn't the air conditioner or central vacuum system. It stopped when I cut off the water to the house. I called Bentleys at seven Monday morning. I told the person it was not an emergency, my water was shut off, but I needed a repairman. He told me that a pipe had probably split and water was hitting the floor.  He the next available plumber would work me into his schedule. It might take three hours, and repairman would call me.  At 10:15, a repairman called and asked when it would be convenient for him to arrive.  I told him that I was at home.  He was there in twenty minutes.  He turned on the water, slightly, to locate the leak, turned it off, and repaired the leak.  He was profession.  It took approximately twenty minutes.  I thought the charge was fair.

It was quite well. I've used them a couple of times in the past. They're very reliable and they show up on time. They're not expensive.

Checked the fixture and found that it had been installed incorrectly and corrected that. The light still didn't work and he found that the switch was defective and replaced it. Also installed two fixtures to replace one with a bad ballast (my choice to replace it). He was very professional and courteous and I felt the price was fair.

The results and work were really good once they got the right parts. It's the first time I've had electrical work was done around here, so I don't know enough to compare pricing. I didn't ask what the hourly rate was, but $800 for 3 hours worth of work is too much. There were two people, and one had to go pick up parts during the 3 hours they were here. I had a conversation with the manager before the job to explain the fixtures and the details of the job so they could come out and be prepared. I've tried to reach them at least 9 times to resolve this matter. A few times, I spoke with the receptionist, but the last 4 or 5 calls have gone straight to voice mail. This is not a great process.

I set up the appointment entirely online without phone contact. The service technician arrived on time, in uniform and was very polite, removing his shoes to enter the house. He shared the work instruction with me, was very considerate about cleaning up and removing all the empty packaging materials. The bill was clearly presented and easy to understand. This company also has 24 hour emergency service, I will definitely maintain the contact information for future reference.

Service was courteous and they were patient with my questions. They were in and out very quickly and had the job(s) done to my satisfaction.

Work was done promptly and effectively. No problems noted so far.

Bentleys has performed a number of regular, and emergency (after hours/weekends) for our home over the years, so when it came time for our generator install we knew who to call.

Eddie, the owner, arrived on time, and very meticulously performed the work. We were very happy with the work performed.

Everything they have done has gone perfectly. They have done many different jobs for me, in Aiken and now in North Augusta, from putting up ceiling fans, to running connections for microwaves, repairing commodes, cleaning lines ... whatever I've asked of them they've delivered.

All went well.

Mathew arrived promptly and investigated to discover the source of the problem. His attitude is exceptional, and he skillfully has a solution. This company is extremely professional from the initial phone call to the completed service. I have used them many times for both plumbing and electrical needs.
