We are now finished with the remodel and it has been a little over one year since the job was complete. We did put up with several goof ups of his --- one of which is he scratched the glass tile installed in the shower by cutting it on the wrong side -- the wall mirror was not measured properly and is installed crooked, and he was not careful and damaged our bedroom carpeting. It is not very noticeable except to us, but there is scratched glass tile in the shower, and I have to live with a crooked bathroom mirror, and I ended up having to replace the bedroom carpet out of my own pocket, and Steve did not offer us any consideration towards any of those mistakes. More importantly, several months ago, I found that the new bathroom floor grout was cracking and the tiles were coming up --- and upon investigation, I found it was due to improper adhesive of the tile to the sub floor. Steve did not seem concerned about this issue and never followed up with me when I originally called him about it. I had to have someone else come in and re-do my tile floor. The way Steve was ignoring me, I would not trust Steve to re-do it properly. I ended up spending even more money on labor and materials on a job we already spent a ton of money on. The tiles we originally chose were very expensive, and we relied on Steve's installation --- a 1 year old floor should NOT have tiles coming up and grout cracking. After having the floor re-done, I again reached out to Steve to help pay towards the labor, but he ignored me. Even though I didn't have to, but to try to be nice to Steve (because I am a nice person), I offered to contribute out of my own pocket towards the materials which was already costing me over $500. I wanted his help to pay for his error. No professionalism in this regard - he totally avoided me. Because he ignored me when there was an issue, it is obvious he did not stand behind his work. I would not trust him for any other job. The rest of the bathroom seems to be standing up --- but I am very disappointed that he would not follow up and respond to my pleas for help with his errors. I therefore do not recommend him and say buyer beware!
