- I called and said he dropped a spring. He said he would be back but never came back. I called and told him the food in the refrigerator was still freezing after a week and a half went by. He called me a couple of weeks later and said that I had to take everything out of the refrigerator and freezer for 48 hours, which I did not do. That was my last contact with Mario's.
I recently had a service repairman come out from Sears for the refrigerator which is a 3year old 29.7 cubic foot Whirlpool refrigerator from Sears. He said the screw that the Mario's service man was necessary for the working of the icemaker.

Additionally one of the tray roller wheels was missing causing further movement and clanking. Very annoying every time the dishwasher was full.
Enter Mario. He was exactly on time, neat, professional and personable. I think the work we required was child's play for him.
He fixed both problems perfectly and we have had no further dishwasher issues.
I would not hesitate to call him in the future.
"We apologize for any miscommunication regarding appliance size. With todays technology some appliances may appear to be smaller but offer the same capacity as an older machine or are by design made smaller in the name of energy savings based on government standards."
My 4 year old gas Bosch drier did not light the pilot one morning and I was nearly overcome by 30 minutes or so worth of gas flowing into the dryer in a closed bathroom space. I paniced and called the gas company. A friendly gas company employee came out, looked things over, and said it was not a gas leak. The amount of gas I experienced was because of the closed quarters. Only gas to the dryer needed to be shut off. He said it was probably a broken igniter.
I called D & S Appliance, a local service I've used several times with mixed results. I was unable to get an appointment until the following week. I received a brusque and condescending voicemail 3 days earlier when I was not home because the technician received the wrong appointment date. I had to call again to reschedule. This was a blessing in disguise because it added to my dissatisfaction with the subsequent service call. I decided to spend some extra money on a second opinion.
Mario's was listed on Angie's List so I called him. Mario answered the phone and I explained the problem. He arrived on time, clean, pleasant, and business-like. He came up with the same diagnosis as D & S, however, he also said it was a very unusual problem and offered a reason for it: the dryer had been improperly installed. (I'd had a friend insall it.) After ordering the somewhat expensive part, just as D & S would have done, he returned on time, clean, friendly, and business-like, He installed the part and repaired the source of the problem.
I also had a small fridge ($100 from Home Depot) that stopped working after only 1 year. When I showed it to him, he offered to sell me a used small fridge at a substantial discount, which was perfect.
He thanked me for the work several times.
