Paul Horn Painting

I could not be happier with Paul's service. He is professional, prompt, takes pride in his work and does an excellent job. We needed this done before the cold weather came and Paul stayed on the job even as the weather threatened to turn bad. I highly recommend Paul, he is the best!

Paul did excellent work and was very easy to work with. We love our new ceiling and would definitely hire Paul again.

Paul did an excellent job painting, staining the hardwood floors at my condo in Newport. I would definitely work with him again. He finished the work earlier than expected and was very understanding of my tight schedule.

Paul did a great job painting the exterior of my house. He first power washed and sanded. The house was dark brown and I wanted to paint it light beige. So Paul primed it and put 2 coats on. The back of the house gets a lot of sun, so the shingles were in tough shape. Paul worked hard to get them looking better. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on Paul’s work! I got lucky and he was able to start the job a few days after I hired him. He was reliable, hardworking and an overall good guy. I will definitely hire him again!

Great Job, Great Guy!! His prep work was sterling......he had to scrape and sand everywhere. Then primed and 2 finish coats. He painted the clapboard front of house and stained the rest of house which was wood shingles. Loved the finished product!! Professional and pleasant individual. Price was more than fair and competitive. Thank you, Paul.

The job went very smoothly. After viewing the rooms, he provided a very fair price estimate and informed me that he could complete the work within my preferred schedule. paul did a great job removing the popcorn ceiling.very little mess and cleaned up well..the 2 ceilings were painted very nicely.

Paul did an outstanding job! He worked around our schedule and his attention to detail was amazing. The house is older and needed some love. When Paul was done the rooms looked new and the trim was pristine. Definitely recommend and will call him in the future.

Paul was prompt and professional and responsive to my questions and a man of his word. He is a hard worker and did an excellent job. I have a small older home with shingles that needed attention . Primer and two coats were applied. I would highly recommend Paul and intend to hire him again for a minor interior job in the fall. Great job my house looks great again! Thank you! What I learned from doing home repairs is to plan ahead by a season or two in order to have them done in season you want as most contractors book fast.

Met at agreed upon time to look at the job, gave hourly rate and approximate time to accomplish job. Did a great job in the expected time.

Paul was a great, honest and hardworking man. Scheduling did not go as smoothly as I would have liked, but that's about the only negative thing I would say about him, and even then it was minor. He worked hard, took pride in his work, and did an amazing job on the front of my house. Once Again I called upon Paul Horn to take care of my painting needs. This time I had an Interior 
project which consisted of my Dining Room & Bathroom. Paul was very busy but squeezed my 
project in on a weekend. He did a great job while encountering some challenges. Broken plaster walls , 
water stained ceilings from old leaks and stress cracks in my bathroom plaster walls. 

Paul once again did an A+ job and will call on him again soon .

Paul and Julio did terrific work. They did interior and exterior painting. Kitchen and bathroom ceilings were peeling and needed to be filled in. They look brand new! Responsive, quick neat work, fairly price with a 100% spot on estimate. it doesn't get any better than this. I am glad I met Paul and will be using his excellent services in the future.

He did a really good job on the work once he got here, but we had a really hard time making an appointment and he would not keep a lot of the appointments and he would not tell us about it. They would not tell us that he was not showing up. He just kept making promises that he was coming and did not show up. Sometimes, he did not show up because it was raining and he could not paint outside. Once he did the job, he did a really good job. He did respond. If I had to, I would use him again.

Working with Paul was easy, even on my admittedly small job. He responded promptly to my request and
came out within a few days to look at the job. After looking at the job, he went to acquire the materials that
would be needed and said that he would return the following morning to do the work.
As it turned out, the weather was cold and Paul contacted me to say that he was going to delay to later in
the day because ofthe cold. He arrived later that afternoon, covered by hydrangeas and completed the job
quickly and cleanly. The results were top-notch.
Paul is a true professional of the old school. His first concern is that the job is done right and to the customer's satisfaction.

I have been wanting to paint my porch since the fall . With the seasonably warm winter we have been having I decided to roll the dice and start a several day porch painting project in January. After going thru a few painters on Angies list I decided to call and use Mr. Paul Horn. I'm so glad I did as I have finally found my painter to complete my projects as they come up. 
From the first contact Paul was responsive , neat , great communicator and professional. He is also a man of his word. Paul and his partner worked extremely hard : sanding , scraping and priming my porch trying to stay ahead of the weather. Being a contractor myself I was very impressed at how Paul and his crew cared about the details. They must have worked 10 hours the first day and it showed. They started painting the 2nd day and with the colors we requested. We even asked  Paul if he could paint our spindels a little bit different then they were and of course he obliged . 
If you are thinking about using Paul stop thinking about it and just do it , you will not be disappointed. You are more then welcome to see the results for yourself.

Perfect!
The water had been turned off by someone else accidently. He called me and I talked him through finding the valve to turn it back on.
He was very careful and he was persistant about getting the job done despite any difficulties and despite it being cold outside.
He kept in contact with me throughout the job. He also gave me a quote to paint the house.Very good, professional worker. I would call him back in a heartbeat.
