Myron A. Franklin General Contractor

We just moved to West Greenwich last year. I have found it challenging to find contractors willing to come out here for an estimate, much less to do a job. Myron and his partner Bruce not only showed up when scheduled, they did a phenomenal job. They are both very pleasant, polite, and professional. They removed two walls to open up our living room to our kitchen and eliminate the hallway next to the living room. This was a very extensive wall removal because one of the walls was load bearing and required four 19' laminated beams to be installed in its place. The walls also contained an electrical outlet, cable outlet, light switch, central vacuum, and thermostat, all which had to be relocated. There were also two baseboard water heaters that had to be relocated. Our textured ceiling has a unique swirl pattern. Myron's dry wallers did an excellent job matching the pattern. Myron also did an excellent job matching the stain of our wood floors for the new pieces he had to install. I can't give Myron enough praise. We are so happy with his work that we will probably use him for an in-law apartment that we want to have constructed.

The wall came out great and were happy to now have an open living space.  Were having Myron come back to level the kitchen floor and to install wood laminate flooring in the open living room / kitchen.

Myron did excellent work, was very pleasant to work with. He kept me up to date on progress (he worked on a home I purchased prior to moving in), and met deadlines. He connected me with electrician, worked directly with a plumber. I continue to work with him as new smaller jobs come up and would recommend him.

Myron and his crew completely remodeled our bathroom which hasn't been done since the 80's.

• They knocked down a wall which provided us with a lot more room. They installed a new tub, shower, vanity and toilet. They moved a radiator, replaced the walls and painted them, updated the plumbing and installed an exhaust fan and a beautiful tile floor. We couldn't be happier with the work, the cleanup and the price. The bathroom is now our favorite room in the house.

I think he was honest and did a pretty good job.

I have hired Myron Franklin several times for a variety of jobs (big and small) over the past couple of years. He does great work and he can do just about anything I ask him to do. He's remodeled 3 of my bathrooms, replaced doors, painted interior rooms, repaired and replaced my kitchen ceiling after water damage, remodeled the entry from the garage to the bonus room and put on an addition to my deck. He always is very prompt and his estimates are spot on. Myron is very easy to work with and is up for any challenge. I would definitely hire him again.
