Leslie was professional and anticipated my needs. She went above and beyond in the tasks she was asked to perform. Without hesitation I would use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for an organizer.
I chose Nicely Done because of rave reviews. We planned 3 4-hour sessions. The first one was dedicated to getting rid of the bulk of the clutter. We sorted out what could be donated or recycled vs what just needed to be thrown away, but at the end of the afternoon she drove away with a carload of stuff and my apartment was that much emptier. Less clutter = less stress, 1st goal accomplished.
The second session was about setting up an organization system. Leslie took the time to figure out how I think and what seems logical to me, and we came up with a system that made sense to me. This didn't just include what I used every day -- closets were unpacked and reorganized -- camping gear with camping gear, gloves with hats, snowshoes with skis, etc. She did the same for the bedroom, the bathroom, the kitchen, the computer desk. By the end of the session things were in their place and those places made sense.
The final session was a couple weeks later. She returned with storage bins and labels and other hardware so that things in cabinets stayed in groups -- aspirin and ibuprofen, heat pads and muscle rub -- and similarly with refrigerator shelves and drawers. Things we'd set up earlier were fine tuned if they worked or revised if they didn't. With the apartment in order, it felt like a weight was lifted off of me, and I hadn't realized how much of my mind was spent on thinking about where things were or weren't.
Leslie was friendly and easy to work with. She kept things light and could sense before I could when I was running out of energy. Everything was working with me -- she didn't force me to get rid of anything I wasn't ready to let go of, and didn't impose a system that didn't make sense to me. Basically, she lived up to every one of those rave reviews, and I'm happy to provide another!
