Johnson's Auto Service

They provided different kinds of mechanical services. Since last year I think I brought in this year. I wouldn’t go to anybody else quite honestly. Their prices are very, very reasonable, very friendly. When they say they gonna have something done at a particular time it’s been on time and I have no negative feedback. They are very fair, courteous. I just simply trust them. When I’m going for an oil change – they look in to the car and they tend to do a little bit extra and that’s why I wouldn’t go to other places because they are just there to change the oil and I’m not be able to go inside and out at least I tend to go to somebody like that. It’s all good! It’s all good! I got a very, very high standard.

If I need something done especially right away – they say bring it in and it’s very rare that they will say you need to wait for a couple of days or few days. My girlfriend uses them to and she lives in Providence.

It had been a while since I had any service other than oil changes. So I asked them to do a general check of everything - almost like an inspection. I dropped my car off and in the morning and waited for a call saying it was done.
They are very thorough and HONEST at Johnson's Auto. There were a few wires and hoses that were fraying or breaking which they changed immediately. He told me of a few things that should be looked at again in six months or so (when my official inspection was due for renewal) so I could keep an eye on them until that time.
When I got my bill I was pleasantly surprised, because I thought the time alone should have made my bill larger. I guess being a long time customer has its perks.

I've been using Johnson's Auto since moving to West Warwick over three years ago. Prior to this, I had always taken care of my own cars before they became more difficult to repair. I have never worried that I would be taken advantage of at Johnson's. In fact, many times I'm pleasantly surprised with a lower repair cost than I expected. Mark Johnson is very fair, ethical, and professional. He does excellent work and gets my car back to me quickly and CLEAN. I also have him perform oil changes every 3,500 miles because I know he'll spot a problem, if there is one. Mark and his right hand man, Jim, always make me feel cared for.

They are very fair and honest. I like them a lot. They do quick work, too. I will use them again in the future.

I had my ignition replaced at another garage. A couple of weeks later the ignition started sticking and not registering when the key was not in the ignition. My husband put WD40 in the ignition and it got a bit better. Then the car started to run very rough and within two days the car was dead. Would not hold a charge at all, so I had the car towed to Johnson's. I told Dave the story and he said he'd look at it and let me know. Luckily, the alternator was okay but my battery was completely dead. The ignition had been "on" since it was replaced and totally killed the battery and fried the ignition wires! They replaced those parts...but then told me to take it back to the original garage so they would fix the ignition. He did not want me to have to pay twice or have them say they wouldn't pay for the repair. Dave also told me that if they give me a hard time about it to come back and see him and we'd work something out. I used to live right down the street from Johnson's Auto but moved about 10 miles away and was looking for a new garage closer to my new home. I have been to three other garages and I now will ALWAYS go back to Johnson's Auto! I don't care how far it is from my house - they are HONEST, fair and trust-worthy. How many mechanics will tell you to go back to the original garage because they don't want to see the customer pay twice? They have always shown me my old parts (I've learned to ask to see them!), explained every charge, accomodated my schedule and did the work they said they would. I took my car to him when I was purchasing it for his opinion - because I knew he would be honest. You can feel confident you aren't getting taken when you bring your car to Johnson's Auto Service. I LOVE them! :)

THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY GOOD TO US, AND WE CONSIDER THEM TO BE VERY TRUSTWORTHY AND HONEST. THERE HAVE EVEN BEEN A FEW OCCASIONS WHEN THEY HAVE DIAGNOSED A PROBLEM WITH A VEHICLE AND THEY DID NOT CHARGE US.
