Buyer beware. If you have a problem with your Cox Account in your home don't call a phone tech!!!!! I was told by a tech that came to my house ...that the people you talk on the support line only have two (2) weeks training and they don't know what they are talking about. I had an Error messages on my Premium Channels (I have all stations) and the phone tech did not know what it was. So he set up an appointment for a live tech to come out to the house. NO ONE TOLD ME IT WOULD COST $60 FOR THE VISIT.... and he didn't fix anything !!!!! The tech that came to my house didn't know about some new channel lineup change either!!! And Cox did not notify us by mail about any of this.
Customer service gave me a $30 credit ... BIG DEAL ... this is the worst Customer Service and Cable Service I have ever had. The cable is always freezing and losing audio. WHATS UP COX???

representative was not helpful in explaining why a bill that was price locked had significant price increases
After switching to another representative I was told I was under this contract for 2 years and the prices could increase even further.

I have had Cox for years and I have ZERO complaints. Their representatives are always available, friendly, anxious to help, and very tolerant of a computer dimwit like myself. They can and do fix every problem my lack of electronic expertise causes, including the time I unhooked the main power line and then could not find it to get the computer to run. These are some nice people!!!

The downloads are fast, response time moving from site to site is also fast. The service is dependable, and I haven't had any problems. We've had the service for about 8 years.

We haven't had any problems with our cable, the only time we lost service is when a tree fell down on the line. We don't have much choice for the cable, they're the only provider in town.
