ROOFING UNLIMITED INC

A complaint was filed with the RI Contractors' Registration & Licensing Board after many months of unsuccessful attempts by the customer to work directly with Roofing Unlimited. An investigator  was assigned to oversee the claim of negligent work.  Under the Board's supervision,  the work was completed  (reshingled the leaking section) and the problem was resolved. The entire process took one year! Still waiting for a bundle of shingles that the contractor was to provide when the work was completed.  He does not respond to phone calls.

Mr. Doyon examined the roof himself.  Within a week, I received a folder in the mail with a full, professionally-done, detailed quote for the job.  Included were pictures of  and information about rooves and also information about the company's associated woodworking shop.  (I appreciated knowing about that operation, because, it seems to me, that such businesses are hard to find.  I intend to call upon that division for future needs.)
We had received three quotes for our roofing job.  The three were fairly close to each other.  Due to our finances, we chose the cheapest, which was one of the other two.
