The owner stopped by to see how I liked their original service.  They had cut down 6 trees and cleaned up 3 other trees for me.  The owner and I agreed that I should have 3 of the tree stumps ground down  and have new loom put down. It was the best decision I could have made.  The service was exceptional and his team were great and I really can't believe how good it looks.  He came back numerous times during the work cycle to make sure that it was coming along the way we had agreed upon. 

This is a company that goes out of their way to provide the best service at I believe the best price. 

I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality service and professionalism.

In a day and a 1/2 all trees where removed.  They removed branches from trees around my yard to allow a better flow of sun light in my yard. They also raked up and removed  all left over branches.  I would definitely recommend them to others.

The firewood was good quality, all hardwood, and a full two chords (not shorted).  The wood was a little green, but burned fine in my wood stove after seasoning all summer.  The price was good, and the delivery was punctual.  I will call them again for my next load.

I can't say enough about Bob and his company, Verrier Tree Service. He delivers full cords of amazing kiln-dried firewood and I never have any problems lighting my woodstove. The firewood burns hot and clean. He even helped me stack a bit of the wood last time he delivered!! He's A1 in my book and I plan to have him take care of some landscaping this Spring.

We were on the waiting list for a delivery of kiln dried wood.  When there was a cancellation, he called us to see if we wanted the order, and delivered two hours later!  Our fires start right away and burn really hot.  Excellent service and quality!

Wood was great.  Supplier quoted tree removal and indicated he would get back to me.  I call three time and sent at least five emails with no response.  Finally gave up

Clean cord of wood, arrived when promised, could burn it immediatley.

I was very impressed with the communication between Mr. Verrier and myself.  He would call and verify times that would be acceptable between his business and myself.  He provided excellent service and was very personable.  I would not go to any other provider after dealing with Mr. Verrier.

I called the cell number and found out that not only does he provide firewood, he has plowing contracts with various public entities.  We were getting an extreme amount of snow, government offices in Boston, where I worked, were closing and when I called he offered to meet me when I arrived home and that he'd put the wood in back of his personal 4x4 truck to deliver it.

He arrived a few minutes before I did and I found him shoveling snow while waiting for me!  I quickly apologized for being late and he made a recommendation on where to store the wood.  He unloaded the wood in a neat pile in the garage, refusing to let me help because of the cold conditions.  10 minutes he was done and waited while I ran to an ATM to make a cash payment.

Fast forward, I had my chimney cleaned yesterday for the upcoming winter.  It took them less than 20 minutes to clean it ... they commented on the quality wood that I had burned the previous year left very little to clean.

I'll be scheduling for this years wood as soon as I submit the review!

After email contact, we coordinated a delivery date and the wood was delivered at that date to the location requested. Good firewood and insect free.

I can't say enough about Bob and Verrier Tree Service. I had just bought a new wood stove for my new home and he came highly recommended. Bob gave me all the details on the wood and even gave me a tutorial on how to burn the wood with the most efficiency. I will never buy my firewood from anyone else. The kiln-dried wood is just amazing!

Bob and team came with chain saws and chipper, and something they called a mulching mower, which is a scary-looking attachment to a big bobcat that chews up branches, small trees and pretty much anything it comes across and leaves a surprising fine mulch. They cleaned up a 100 foot by 15 overgrown area, and some other misc messes. Looks fantastic. I can plant grass, shrubs, ground cover, whatever I want. Included in this price they moved a big old shed 100 feet across the yard. They we're very careful and smart and it all worked out perfectly. Great hard working guys. I will call them again.  

Update - 2/13/15.  We ended up ordering another half cord of wood in Oct 2014.  Delivery was prompt, wood was great quality, However, my husband and I were very disappointed by recent lack of response/service.  In the last week of December we called to order a cord of wood and figured it would take a few weeks because of the time of year and increased demand.  We were told to submit an email request.  A response was received at that time with an estimated delivery date of 3-3.5 weeks.  4.5 weeks later, we emailed on a Friday asking for an update.  A response came stating that our wood was ready and they would call that weekend to let us know when they would come by.  Nothing.  We called.  We emailed.  No responses.  It's been almost two months since our original call.  We didn't source from other firewood providers because we liked the service and product from Verrier and wanted to keep with them.  However, the utter lack of any contact has left us wondering if they've gone out of business.  We would have understood if someone/anyone would have just said, "it aint gonna happen, sorry".

(Original review March of 2014): Wood arrived as scheduled and it was great. Very dry hardwood, cut to uniform lengths.  We are VERY happy with the service and product and will definitely be using Verrier in the future.

Bob has been awesome. He really takes care of his customers. His is exactly the kind of business we love to support. He takes pride in excellent customer service and the best quality product for a fair price. He has gone out of his way to make sure we had firewood when we ran out and extreme cold weather was approaching. Bob contributes to several local charities and is an active member in bettering his community. He is also super nice to deal with on a person to person level. We love Verrier.

Great service. Bob delivered my wood within 3 days of my placing the order, arrived just when he said he would and was very helpful and polite.

The quality of the firewood is outstanding, but scheduling and delivery are a constantly moving target.  Seems like a good guy, but you just never know if or when he's going to show up.  I finally gave up and moved on to another supplier.

This is an update of an earlier review of our firewood provider Robert Verrier,  Bob now has a larger capacity for drying the wood and he has improved his delivery service times greatly.   I can't recommend him and his wood enough.   The price seems high if you are used to paying for "seasoned" wood -- but the net product results are spectacular.   He is an honest and dependable vender.
