Estimate was prepared quickly.  Scheduled powerwashing within a week and at a time convenient for me.  They then followed up with sealing the driveway on the weekend.

They came when they were supposed to.  They did a great job.  I would recommend them.

Contacted TLC to obtain estimate for paving driveway which included removal of telephone poles lining a portion of the driveway, grading the bank along the driveway to a mowable grade, and paving the driveway with 3 inches of asphalt.  Owner visted property first to inspect the potential job, followed by a subsequent visit by the project manager/foreman to provide estimate based on driveway measurements. Original estimate was provided which appeared fairly priced and when we specifically inquired if there were any circumstances that would significantly increase/change the estimate, we were told "no."   High level instructions were provided verbally only on how to take care of the driveway once newly paved. Company employees were punctual, friendly, and personable.   Overall, pavement job looks good, however, bank was graded 3-8 inches below new pavement.  Upon completion of the job, we were then told that we would now need backfill (about 30 cubic yards) brought in to fill in along the entire length of the driveway (10' wide by approximately 500' long) another significant project (estimate of additional $3,000) which we felt should have been disclosed up front as this is a 'circumstance that significantly impacted' the original estimate. Not only were we only informed of this after the paving job was complete, but that we also needed to have it done as soon as possible.  We felt that the company should have disclosed this information up front and not after the fact. We only received a hard copy instructing us on the care needed for the newly paved driveway with our bill.    We attemped to contact the owner to disuss the matter and our displeasure on two separate occasions.   The first message was left with the secretary and the foreman (Don) called us back instead.  We repeated our desire to speak to the owner with Don and was told for a second time that he would have the owner contact us.  We have never received a call back from the owner.  Ultimately, we feel like we were mislead and would be hesitant to utilize their services again.
