Wrench Renovations was the biggest mistake we ever made. During the bath renovations, he blew holes in some walls by using the wrong nails in his pneumatic gun. We had to clean up daily behind him. He install damaged tiles that we made him remove and replace, You can see every joint seam between drywall sheets. Just a poor poor job. During the kitchen addition, he failed to properly cover the connection between the new and old roof lines and we had a storm that put inches of rain in our kitchen and basement. He installed the cabinets incorrectly and we had to use a sheet of sheet of covering material that should have belonged to a desk to hide the error. He never cleaned up after his workers, it became a daily chore for my wife and I. His worker damaged our bluestone steps while digging the foundation. He again used the wrong size nails in his pneumatic gun and blew holes through the walls in our stairwell. He installed the subflooring so badly that the flooring man refused to put down his material without redoing it. You can clearly see where the new and old ceiling were joined. He was supposed to be finished with our project in late July, early August. WE fired him from the job the last week of October and had to hire others to complete the work and repair the damage he did. We spoke to a lawyer about suing for the damages, but were advised that even when we won, after lawyer and court fees and collection fees, that we would be better of simply not paying the balance of $3000 that we owed and hoping that he would sue us for the difference. I would NOT recommend this company for any job, no matter how big or small. If you do hire him, be sure to have him provide you with a copy of his insurance coverage. You WILL be needing it.
