Excellently. Harry was the professional who did the work both for my individual unit and for the building HOA (I live in a 3 unit bldg). He was extremely personabe, courteous, professional, meticulous (I do appreciate anyone who takes pride in and is particular about his craft/trade) and efficient. Harry came to my house twice as a ‘fixer’ of sorts (to correcr/fix the work done by a different contractor/company).

We had an issue with a potential carbon monoxide problem with our 27 year old gas furnace.  The gas company came to replace the outside meter and couldn't relight the furnace because of carbon monoxide issues.  I've used Riley in the past for plumbing issues and they've always been very responsible and professional.  This was no exception.  I will continue to use them for all my plumbing and heating needs.

Everything was done very professionally. He was able to fix the faucet without replacing it. The garbage disposal works great. My washing machine shut off valve and outside faucet do not leak anymore. He had everything done in a little over 2 hours. He also answered my questions about some future plumbing issues and gave me a lot of helpful information. It was clear he was very well informed. I will definitely call them again.

Came out to troubleshoot a new water heater that wasn't working correctly. They where there within the hour. He diagnosed and repaired in under 2 hrs. He also noticed an unsafe gas line that he capped.

No one likes the mess and inconvenience of an expired water heater.  This company answered the call, asked the right questions, and someone was at my house this morning (12 hours after my call)  getting the job done at a very reasonable price.  Now I can resume normal life.  I would recommend this company to any friend.

On the Sunday night before Thanksgiving, our old natural gas water heater rusted out and started leaking all over the basement. After shutting everything off, we called Riley Plumbing first thing Monday morning. Liz answered the phone and didn't blink an eye. "What's the make and model?" Amazingly, they had a free morning in the schedule, so Harry came over and hour later with a perfect replacement. The old heater removed, and the new one installed in a couple of hours. They also replaced the shut-off valve which was pretty old and didn't completely shut-off.
They also "sign their work" - the installer name, telephone, and install date in marker on the unit. Very professional! You can't go wrong with Riley Plumbing!

The hot water faucet was leaking in my tub and it took two trips to fix the problem.  Since I have a tankless hot water system, I was not only wasting water, I was also burning excess oil.  This was not a simple drip, it was more a steady stream of hot water.  Charlie attempted to fix the problem by replacing the faucet but it was so old and rotted that a new washer couldn't even be seated properly.  During this call, Charlie discovered that the main shut-off valve was corroded and would need to be replaced.  This would involve getting the water company to shut off the water at the street while the valve was being replaced and to turn the water back on once the repairs were completed.  Riley Plumbing coordinated all of that and came out to fix the problem a couple of days later.  I now have valves that I can shut off should I ever need to and a new shower/tub faucet that doesn't leak.  The work was done as quickly as possible, every one at Riley Plumbing was friendly and professional, and my bathroom was left cleaner than when they started.
