"This is the first time I've seen this review. This was over 6 years ago. I can't remember this couple's names but we like to refer to them as Hack 1 (him) and Hack 2 (her). Hack 2 had called one day asking for a quote on a moving job explaining that it wasn't a big at all. I then asked her if she could describe what she had. Hack 2 tells me there are only 20-25 boxes and maybe 10 pieces of furniture. Thinking to myself, this isn't a big job at all. I gave Hack 2 an estimate of around (key word) $300-$350. The day of the job, three of us show up and go inside Hack 2's apartment. Hack 1 was no where to be seen. Once inside of the apartment, I quickly noticed that there were far more many boxes and about double the amount of furniture Hack 2 had initially told me. I told Hack 2 that the price would increase because of the amount that they had and being fair, I told her around $450. As me and my guys were outside getting ready, Hack 1 showed up and immediately began asking me why his wife was crying (no clue). Hack 1 then said that I told his wife that I raised the price and she was upset. Now Hack 1, with a major disrespectful foolish attitude says that Hack 2 and himself were Marines and he is a current local Cumberland Police Officer. Once Hack 1 told me this, I then told him my past career which stopped him dead in his tracks and his whole demeanor quickly changed. Hack 1 then agreed on the price increase and we started the job. We completed the job like always and Nothing was ever damaged as they say. We ended up counting around 80 boxes and more than 20 pieces of furniture, clearly far more than what Hack 2 had initially told me. Unfortunately, businesses like this will always attract people trying to pull fast ones on you. I can't stress enough for other businesses to always be careful of scammers like these two."
