PRECISION SAW & MOWER SVC

Excellent, We purchased a new Stihl Chainsaw, in which they gave us tips on how to keep the chainsaw running efficiently. Afterwards, we dropped off our generator to be serviced for an oil leak, and the gentleman went right through the whole engine to see if there were any other services needed. He had to replace a part on the motor and did so at an affordable price.

I brought my lawnmower in under warranty in the Summer of 2009 because it would not start. Precision had it for 2 months and when I finally was able to pick it up -- it did not start. They took it in and monkeyed around with it until it started. I took it home, mowed half my yard and it died and wouldn't restart. I brought it back to them and they had it for another month -- rebuilt carb, spark plug change, oil change, air filter change, sharpened blade. I took it home and used for the final mowing of the season and put it in the garage. About a month later I realized I should run the gas out of it before letting it sit all Winter -- tried to start it -- nothing. In February (plenty of time before the grass starts to grow) I called Precision about the fact that it still wasn't working and they said I had waited too long from the last repair (even though I obviously was not using the mower over the Winter) and that they would no longer warranty their work, but they might be able to give me a deal anyway. So I dropped it off again. I finally heard from them a month later... and they told me that my mower.... which I used exactly once since they last had it... needed the carb rebuilt, oil change, air filter change, spark plug change, NEW blade, new fuel line and new pull cord. Excuse me?? They just did most of that the previous Fall! It was used ONCE. I picked up my mower and took it elsewhere. These people are dishonest and quite possibly also incapable of actually repairing a lawnmower (assuming they actually did try to fix it the last 2 times.) Avoid them at all costs.

I would like to note that the repair shop I brought it to in April, after this experience, fixed it and had it back to me the NEXT day and I have had no trouble with it since. And it only cost me $30.00. For real.
