We are very happy with the work P&D did in painting our house. The crew was friendly and easy to work with. Don kept us informed with the schedule and when we could expect the painting to start. With all the rain it made his planning a little difficult but we were kept in the loop every step of the way. He gave us a fair quote and explained what the job would involve. No hesitation in contacting with them again. Quality work, good communication and a fair price. What more could you ask for?

Poor communication throughout the process wanted to do things their way never finished sanding or prep work. Got joint compound on my GFI switch and my kitchen outlet. Wanted me to install my flooring and Cabinetry before sanding. Did not cover my brand new baseboards. Came back tape them off and never vacuumed the plastic is still on the baseboards. Would not recommend hiring p&d painting. Don the owner was upset that after I removed the vinyl siding I changed my mind about painting the home because there was so much damage. It took him forever to come back to do prep work which he never finished there are still rough areas on the walls and gouges throughout the first level. Gave him $3,000 to fill holes and sand and he never completed the work very disappointed.

"Linda, I am sorry you feel that you had a bad experience. But the fact is that we did repair work not prep work and you wanted it cover under the original contract price. I was not upset that you broke the contract and decided not to paint the exterior but we made a deal for both jobs and you cancelled one and still wanted the deal price. And as far as that goes, I was told by the site that you went around the contract prior to any of this and reached out to get more quotes behind my back, very shady. The prep in the contract was for filling nail hole and caulking, not repair large hole made by you plumber, electrician, carpenter and floor guys. The second time I came back there was more damage that needed to be fixed that was caused by the other contractors. I have spoken to you more than any other customer and have many screenshots of the text messages between us. I tried to tell you on more than one occasion that we could not finish because there was no prep to be done. The windows are not in the doors are not in there is no tile the cabinets are not in, nothing is in but you wanted me to prep and paint the walls, so they can be damaged by the other workers that is not common practice. And I have many photos and videos of me vacuuming and protecting everything in your partially completed home. But you wanted everything done incorrectly and got mad at me for it, swearing at me and hanging up on me more than once and telling me "you don't give a thing what I think how it should be done. Much more materials had to be purchased to fill several large holes in 3 bathrooms, 2 bedroom, a large hallway, a living room, a dining area and kitchen, and entry hall. Much more work than "prep" and you wanted all this covered under the contract that you broke."

Don and his partner Peter are extremely creative, detailed and responsible. They work well on their own and do not need constant oversight. Don is a true artist and can create anything that you can imagine as far as specialty work with painting. Peter is extremely detailed and if perfect is what you want, that is what they can produce.

I feel that P & D Painting is very competent and experienced. Pete and Don are very knowledgeable. I wouldnà ¢à  à  t have anyone else paint the interior or exterior of my house than Pete and Don.
