Vicki is the "Real Deal" and an absolute professional. She explained the entire abatement process from beginning to end in a digestible manner. The removal crew showed up exactly when they said they would arrive and left the space looking even better than before they showed up. Highly recommend if you need abatement services.

Fantastic experience. I wish all my home repairs issues went this smoothly. I called Vicki on a Sunday night expecting to leave a message. The phone was forwarded to her personal phone, which she answered. I explained that we had just discovered we could not do the removal ourselves - the damage to the asbestos was too severe. We were planning on moving into the house in 5 days. She met me the NEXT day at the house and gave me a quote immediately. They had an opening in their schedule the NEXT day. I left her my key and the entire job was finished that Tuesday. They even found an extra 15 feet of pipe in a crawl space that we hadn't noticed and Vickie hadn't noticed either. They removed that as well without any additional cost. This was by far the best experience I have ever with home repairs. I would highly recommend this company.

Crew was on time, ready to work and respectful of keeping our house clean and protected as they removed material. Vicky was great to work with - direct and frank (the nature of their business) with a great sense of humor. Crew removed material exceptionally well under hot and difficult circumstances. Got the job done on time and under the original estimate. Would suggest this firm to others if necessary.

Overall, using "General Environmental Services" was a very positive experience. The crew that performed the work was effecient. They were careful to protect surfaces and surroundings. A negative air chamber was created in the basement and the air was filtered many times to assure air born particles were captured. The pipes were coated to assure any stray fibers were encapsulated.

Vicky showed up at the appointed time, told us exactly how her team would remove the asbestos, and got the job done promptly. Afterward, one of her subcontractors tested the air in the basement and certified that it was free of asbestos fiber.

GES owner Victoria was easily reached by phone and was able to promptly arrange for a visit in order to give an estimate. She came to the house to see what work we needed done and gave an estimate on the spot. She was able to also arrange for the work to happen that same afternoon. The work was done on time, professionally, and done well! We would definitely use GES again for any further asbestos work and would recommend the company to anyone doing similar work in their home.

I wanted someone very reliable when you are dealing with safety issues. Vicki came out and looked at the property. She gave us a quote. Vicki ended up supervising. Vicki was very appreciative of her two workers. She was very knowledgeable. They moved some things that we could not. Since then, I have referred them to relatives. This company had the cheapest bid by far. They had it done in a couple hours. They made it easy for us. They were very timely. cost. She does the asbestos abatement.
