EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLUMBING, HEATING AND AC

Ray, Chris and Jeff arrived on time and conferred with me about timing of removing the existing hot water tank, and how long I'd be without heat or water, in order to try to mitigate the lack of utilities during the removal and installation process. Then the team immediately got to work, keeping dust and debris to a minimum. They worked quickly as a team, keeping me updated on the status the installation, completing the project in 2 full days. When I contacted them regarding modifying the temperature and some minor dripping, they came right out and took care of it. All is working as it should and is fantastic to have this so quickly installed. Thanks to the team for working in and out of the cold!!

They are very professional, and proficient. The job was perfect. They are right up to code. I could not say enough nice things about them. I felt very comfortable with them being in my home. I love them. They have also replaced our HVAC system as well.

I was hesitant to call because I imagined it would be very expensive, however I believe the price was fair and I was very pleased with the service.

My only issue was they were late and did not call to inform me that they would be late. Other than that, when they did arrive, he listened to my issue then proceeded to the furnace to do some diagnostics. He quickly located the issue and fixed the problem which was a zone valve.

At 4:45 pm I discovered I had no heat. My regular plumber does not respond to emergency calls after normal business hours. I am not the type of person who can tough it out and be without heat overnight. I checked Angie's List and the phone book to find one who could come that night. I called Emergency Response and the phone was answered promptly. I was informed that someone would be at my home within the hour. About 50 minutes later, Matt arrived. He was courteous and professional. He answered all my questions and gave me a price quote before he started any work. He worked for a little under 3 hours. I am always nervous about calling a company after normal business hours. I had no heat and was at their mercy, but I found the prices to be reasonable and the service fantastic! I also asked for a quote on a hot water heater and was told it was around $975. Considering the fact that they will do the work after normal business hours, I think it's a fair price. The last hot water heater I installed during normal business hours (had to wait until Monday to have it installed, since it happened over the weekend,) was $800.00 and this was a few years back. I would not hesitate to call them again!

The drain leak started on a friday evening, with water pouring into the basement every time we turned on the kitchen faucet. Since it wasn't an emergency the plumber came at 8am the next morning. Finding the break in the pipe took about an hour, and involved making holes in the basement ceiling and also under the sink. He kept the holes small and tidy though, which I appreciated, instead of just ripping everything up. There was dirty water in the basement, and the job was pretty messy. While there he also fixed a leaking pipe, although he had to leave to get supplies for that job. He was very polite and worked quickly and quietly, despite all the distractions going on in the house. He was there for about 5 hours total. I felt the price was fair for plumbing, which is always very expensive.

I called to find out what sort of problem I might be having since I had to constantly monitor the water level in my boiler. I received a suggestion from the rep on the phone that might solve the problem (replacing the out vents on my radiators). I took the suggestion but it didn't solve the problem. I called back and the contact then suggested the automatic water feed attachment. He sent someone to check out my boiler the same day - within an hour! Installation took place the very next day. They arrived when they said they'd arrive. The charged what they said they'd charge. It was terrific. As a new home owner, I had lots of questions - and the rep was very willing to answer them. He even showed me where to turn off my outside water faucets. May not sound like much, but the willingness to help was greatly appreciated. If you need a good plumber... call these guys!

My wife found Emergency Response Plumbing/Heating Inc.'s website one night when our boiler in our "new" old house started spewing water into the basement. We know little about furnace/boiler/radiator systems and were rather panicked that our basement would flood. A quick search on the internet found ER Plumbing and their emergency hotline. The technician who answered walked us through the steps to take to stop the purging of water and basically taught us about the boiler over the phone. We called back several times as new questions arose and he encouraged us to call back if necessary. Considering it was late at night on the weekend, I was thrilled to have this service. The phone service itself was free! Since I felt I owed the company something, and I wanted to understand my boiler/radiator system better anyway, I scheduled a house call. A very friendly and knowledgeable employee came out the next Monday to look over the boiler and give us a tutorial. The charge was $90. I would have paid that just for the over-the-phone information and peace of mind it provided. A house call, assessment of my boiler and a tutorial for $90 was more than worth the price.
