Bob's Discount Furniture Inc

We had some serious flooding on the day they were delivering the piece. I didn't expect them to arrive but they did. They delivered and set it up. It was a dark day because of the rain. One of the delivery guys had chest pain and was not able to assist with the construction. I was distracted with the guy having chest pain, the flooded driveway, the delivery experience overall and did not notice that one of the drawers was dented in like a blunt object had hit it. At the time I was also shopping for other furniture online and ran across all of these complaints about Bob's. I eventually got back to the store and took the drawer with me so they could see the drawer themselves. They agreed that the drawer needed to be replaced. The manager wouldn't allow a switch with the one they had on the floor and said we had to order another. After a half an hour of figuring out the process they made it seem it was all set. A couple of days later a woman named Candace (from Bob's) called said they had to send a tech to the house to see for themselves that there was indeed a problem. I was feeling the runaround begin. Bob's told me to call another number and I was given another number still (from the 12 minute recording I was listening to while on hold) to call the "goof proof" location myself. A human voice answered and advised to me that I'd have to go through Bob's directly. I've realized now that this is a runaround business and there are hundreds of complaints about them with the BBB. I was dealing with health issues and was unable to take the drawer back myself and did so when I could, about a month later. The "goof proof" paperwork was valid for 5 years though so a month was nothing. I'll add my feedback there as well and also file a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office.
