We had an awful experience! Our general contractor hired this man. Mr. Coutu continually made promises that he didn't keep. He didn't show up when he said he would. He'd show up in the morning, then leave after working only a few hours. Our general contractor literally had to stay and "babysit" him, to assure that he wouldn't leave the job site. The painting job was awful. There were numerous drips and splatters of paint, including on our new hardwood floors and new cherry kitchen cabinets. When we pointed out these problems to him, he promised to take care of them. He either didn't or did a poor job of repairing the defects. He re-plastered a ceiling and did a terrible job. Our general contractor had to re-do the job and repaired as much of the poor painting as he could.
Description of Work: Interior painting, approximately 800 square feet of interior space (2 bedrooms, stairway, small foyer, small office area, kitchen, family room, half bathroom, and mudroom). Most of the painting was on newly plastered walls. Some minor plaster repair was also performed.
