I would not reccomend this company unless you have a 4 month window and lot's of time on your hands to see if the job gets completed.

It was good service from start to finish and it was done on time. It was within reason on what they quoted for. There were no problems at all.

After a favorable meeting with the owner, Wayne, and one of his installers, I contracted for the work. On the appointed day, a new installer showed up. The guy had a sour look on his face, told me he had forgotten his saw at home, and asked to use my phone so he could call his wife to have her deliver the saw. This was an inauspicious beginning and the day went downhill from there. The guy was careless moving the refrigerator and managed to damage some of the flooring when putting it back in place. And although he wasn't finished at 4:00 he told me he had to leave to go to another job and would be back on another day. He had left sawdust and wood scraps in my driveway and brost;ed when I asked him to clean up the mess. The following week, the job was finally finished with the exception of some baseboard which was to be installed and which still hasn't been done. The combination of sloppy work, rotten attitude of the installer, and poor response on the part of the owner makes it impossible for me to recommend this company.

I contacted company in late April to have floors installed for an apt that I needed to rent. I did not shop around for prices. I could have bought the flooring at a liquidation outlet and had someone install it, but I assumed it would be faster to just turn everything over to East Bay. Although the owner, Wayne Proulx, and his installers do beautiful work, Wayne seems to be considerably overextended. Every step of the process involved a delay of days or weeks waiting for phone calls to be returned. Installer came to take measurements second week of May. The living room was done on June 14 and the kitchen on July 29. I'm still waiting for Wayne to come back to install a piece of curved molding around the cabinets. One of his installers made off with my pry bar. I'm sure this was an accident, but I also think that when I mentioned it numerous times, they should have replaced it or deducted the cost from the bill.

We visited the showroom on a Saturday and one and a half weeks later we had a beautiful new floor.

These guys are great. Nice showroom. Went to Boston to get flooring that would match existing hardwoods in adjacent area. Very challenging floor due to 150 year old house.
