We needed two chimney liners installed in a 100-year old house/chimney. When the project hit obstacles (literally), they kept on working to get it done. We were very satisfied.

He did a good job, was punctual, and was reasonably priced as well.

I called to and told them what I needed.  They came out the next day or even that day.  Put the collar on and job done in less than an hour.

Called yesterday morning and John had someone out to my home that day.  I just moved into my home this summer and this is the first winter I would be operating my used wood stove, so I was expecting that my stove pipe was going to need a sweep.  After inspecting the stove and providing many helpful tips and suggestions, a sweep was not deemed necessary so they only charged for a service call / inspection instead of charging an additional $80 for an unnecessary sweep.  Thank you John and team!

John Debar, owner of this company and of Fireside Stove and Fireplace, is very easy to talk with, low-key and very knowledgeable, informative, helpful, and patient.  (I contacted him by phone.)  it was the next day or the day after that  that the men climbed onto our roof and took photos of the chimney, outside from several angles and inside, and emailed them to us.  We could clearly see how deteriorated the chimney was .  We appreciated the photos since we as senior citizens could not have gotten onto the roof ourselves to look.  
John's contract spells out everything completely and well.  There is a lifetime guarantee on the liner and its components. 
The work was done very quickly, in fewer than seven days after my first call, even with 2 or 3  days of rain in the middle. 
We are very happy with Ocean State Chimney and are so glad to have now a much safer chimney (not collapsing above the roof, not letting fumes escape within the walls, protected in the house from further deterioration (this and the just-previous improvement are due to the stainless-steel flue), emptied of decades of soot, and with a new, convenient clean-out door in place.
The exposed part of the chimney looks nicer now, too.  An exanple of the care that John Debar takes is his attention to detail in matching the color of the new bricks and mortar to the old.
