They did a fine job at a good price, for a service that a lot of people don’t offer these days and they were good to work with. The whole neighborhood association and I paid for the work. Their prices are reasonable. I was happy with the job they did.

I share the driveway with my next door neighbor. It was not cheap, but it was extremely well done. We could communicate and tell them what we didn’t want and what we wanted. My next door neighbor is famous for interviewing people and we talked to 10 people. Marchetti was in the process of selling the business and retiring. Our job was the last job with him as the principal. So, he was very good. He actually messed up. We have a sewer line that runs down on one side of the driveway. He hit the sewer line. So, he went down, got the parts and fixed it. He then told us that he hit our sewer line and fixed it. We spent $8000 and I can’t complain about the pricing after seeing the excellent job that they did. We had talked to other people about doing the ditch and they said that they don’t do that. We had other people come in and say that we didn’t need that kind of a driveway, but needed other kind of a driveway. It was way more than what we needed to do. Marchetti Construction Inc. was then sold to somebody. Marchetti was the chief guy involved and he was the principal on the job all the time. He was basically the supervisor or the foreman. He ran one of the bobcats. He is now supposed to be retired. I would call them and see who would show up.

Cost split with neighbor who shares driveway. This company is a class act. Had detailed discussion of just where to pave driveway; whole drive is about 1300 feet from street to split to each house and ascends steep hill. Outstanding job on reworking ditches to improve drainage and great job on pitching pavement to convey water to ditches. Withstood the great flood of march 2010 with no problems. Needed to take great care because water, electricity, cable tv, and sewer lines buried adjacent to driveway and ditches (DigSafe identified locations). Did hit and damage a sewer cleanout, but immediately ceased operations, procured new parts and repaired to our satisfaction.

The work was excellent. We had a gravel driveway, and stone around the house where we drive and in the parking area. They paved two big areas for us, at the bottom and top of the driveway. I don?t know how their prices would compare but they just do beautiful work. I?m sure I could have gotten it done cheaper but they did a lot of work, and did an excellent job. I think they are now under another company called East Coast Industries. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.
