 + 4 moreIt started off fine but Mr Robbins just went Casper(disappeared) on us and the project. The people/workmen that came in to finish and fix the job showed us the depths of his inability and lack of knowledge.
Description of Work: This guy is a total joke, I would like to write more and will later but we are looking into suing him for several things. One of which is fraud. He yes' you to death, then does whatever he wants to cover for lack of real abilities. For the first time in my life I can say I would be a better person having never met Mr. Robbins, so I hope you don't!

 + 4 moreMr Robbins did an addition for us. He indicated that he could do the entire job and would not finish until we were happy and we got the CO. -He worked ALONE for 75% of the project( when confronted got very defensive) -It took him more than a year for a 2500 sq foot addition. - He did not finish one room well or correctly. 1.We have creaking stairs 2. Crooked windows, 3. Leaking showers - he neglected to put the tiles on inside lip of the floor of a new shower. This resulted in excessive leaking into the new basement. Possibly need total shower replacement. 4. Crooked tiles in both bathrooms 5. Constant shorting of the new lights installed 6. Crooked shingles 7. Neglected to install 5 lights in the quote 8. Left 1/2in spaces where the floors should meet the baseboards 9. Installed an Anderson door so badly that it kept flying open, it took 2 visits from the Anderson service guys to fix 10. 65% of the window hardware was not installed 11. Drilled a hole thru the house When being confronted regarding these problems he came up with nothing, and proceeded to goon vacation ( one of 7 during our project). He got another job as things got dicey,and began not showing up. HE SHOULD BY NO MEANS GET ANYTHING BUT A HANDYMAN JOBS. We believe he does not know what he is doing. FYI : he has no insurance .
Description of Work: Totally new 2500 sq foot addition. Including 2 new bathrooms, 3 new bedrooms, new heating and new electrical box.
