I would NOT recommend using Petro for the following reasons: 1) Technician showed up SEVERAL hours later than the window for an appointment scheduled at least a month in advance. And customer service waited until the latter half of my 2 hour window to let me know they were going to be late, although he had no idea how late the technician was going to be. I took a day off from work to wait for the technician and he showed up at 7pm on a Friday evening, 5 hours after the end of the pre-scheduled window. 2) I was offered a $100 credit by a manager for the missed window and NEVER ACTUALLY RECEIVED THE CREDIT, even after I called to ask for it and came up with the manager's name. 3) After I had had enough of getting the run around, I decided to not renew and close my account. I HAD TO CALL AT LEAST A HALF DOZEN TIMES to close out my account. For some reason, the accounting department didn't record the non-renewal of my annual agreement (in spite of my calls to cancel) and I was billed >$400 for the annual agreement. I subsequently received calls from a collection agency trying to collect the money from the agreement. It is now almost 1 month later after my initial calls to close my account and my account IS STILL NOT CLOSED!!! 4) Petro's oil prices and service agreement prices are at least 25% higher than competitors' pricing. In summary, this was one of the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE experiences I have ever had even though I have been a customer for more than 3 years. Remarkably they were fine the first 3 years and I had no reason to be upset; not sure what changed in the last several months. This is the only reason I am not giving them an all around "F" rating. Be forewarned, once you sign up, it's very hard to get rid of them.

So far so good. They set up my account quickly with one phone call. The salesperson was very helpful and also arranged for oil delivery within a couple of days as I was running low. I have used Petro in the past and have been happy with them. Since they had been servicing the house I just bought, it made sense to continue with them. They also offered a very nice promotion for new customers so it was a good decision. Petro has a great reputation as a full service heating company and I recommend them to anyone,

It went okay. If you sign up to use them for a year they provide you tru oil for a year and they come out and they check out your oil burner and do that for free. I am not very happy with them because they indexed me into that review. They called me seriously every single day for a number of weeks and they burgeoned me and my wife until we called them back, so I would say that their responsiveness to the calls that matter to them was excellent. The calls that mattered to us when we had questions and concerns was probably D grade and based off of that because I told them to stop calling me and they refused to.

They were charging such a high rate for the maintenance for the furnace.

The cost is included in my service budget. They are polite, knowledgeable and competent. I have got nothing bad to ay about them.

We've been using them for about 15 years. They do a good job. They haven't made us unsatisfied. So, we continue to use them. We're on automatic delivery.

It went very very well. He was wonderful. I had never used their services before. But, I was very very pleased because I've had other plumbers that weren't so wonderful. They were great. I don't think it was out of the ballpark. Because I had had work done before it was a little bit cheaper. I just wanted it done once. I really almost didn't care how much it cost as long as it was done right. They did it right. So, it wasn't cheap. But, I think it was within the ballpark of acceptable standards. They installed a new shower because this other shower had a crack in the bottom. The shower was leaking through the floor and rotting the wood underneath. So it was going to have to be a big job. They did that. Then I think they did tiling of the floor and all around the shower. They did a real nice job. Earlier in the fall, I had them check five burners and they were excellent. In fact, one of them gave me the name of somebody in the company to have them come and fix the air conditioner. I haven't done that yet. But, I've just really been very pleased with all their services. Their punctuality was very good. I needed some other referrals and they gave me the name. They were just tops. I am calling them to fix the air conditioner.

Bottom line... Good service, but expect to pay extra for it.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD WHEN THEY DID COME UP BUT DID NOT GIVE US REMINDERS OF WHEN THE SERVICES NEEDED TO BE DONE. WHEN THEY DID COME THEY HAVE VERY GOOD SERVICE AND WERE SATISFIED.
