I use them all of the time. They service my car and also service my daughter's car as well. I would recommend them.

They are excellent. I've taken my cars there for many years. They are friendly, courteous and local. They have good prices. I will absolutely continue to use them.

I was able to obtain and quick and convenient appointment for full brake service. The staff was courteous and helpful. I chose to have the brakes done by the provider instead of my dealer, which saved me approx $150 off of the dealer's quote. Only downfall was that because the parts used were not dealer supplied, the brakes only lasted for about 2 years (40,000 miles) instead of the 80,000 miles I got from my first round of factory brakes. That's a given though. I would definitely bring my car back to Route 5 for future services/repairs if needed.
On another note, I prefer to continue to bring my car to the dealer for regular oil changes, as I consider Route 5's charges to be too high for an oil change (approx. $30).

I had gotten completely fed up with bring my cars back to dealerships, two, three sometimes more times to get the same problem looked at, only to get a different story each time. At route 5 auto, I've never had an issue with any of the work they've done. My cars are a 2002 and 2006 so I need a good mechanic. I feel secure that, when there is a problem with any of my vehicles, Kenny and his team will return my car to me or my wife in good and safe operating condition.

After explaining what I knew of the prohlem I informed the manager (owner?) that it was very important to me to have an estimate of repairs before they proceeded. Unfortunately, the only contact I had from them was to tell me that the car was ready and would cost, as I recall, about $1,000. Not only had they installed the starter without my permission, the one they installed cost $200 more than one I could have purchased a local auto parts stores. The manager stated that he would not use 'inferior' products, though he did not even know which starter I would use, nor would he tell me the manufacturer of the one he used. He did offer a minimal reduction in price ($50), but that did not offset the lack of an estimate or the high cost of the part.

They do seem to do good, quality work. Unfortunately, this lapse in professionalism has made me leary to use them again.

I WAS VERY GRATEFUL THAT ROUTE 5 AUTO REPAIR COULD GET ME IN ON SUCH SHORT NOTICE. THEY WERE ABLE TO ORDER A REPLACEMENT AND HAVE IT INSTALLED ALL IN THE SAME WEEK.
