 + -1 moreIt was an insurance claim because we had a soot problem in the house so it was done by Greenville Kitchen. We had a claim. We had a massive soot problem in the house. We weren't here when it happened. The soot occurred towards the end of May and they worked through the summer on the house. We had major work done. It wasn't the worst. It was an everyday thing. Everything from electricians to floor finishers. They hired somebody to do the floors and they were horrible. They wouldn't help us. We had to pay someone else to do the floors later. They were horrible. I don't remember them wearing booties. They were considerate I think.
Description of Work: They provided remodeling services.

 + -1 moreThe owner was professional but extremely expensive. We got the impression he prefers to do high- end jobs. Also, he was not easy to get in touch with and did not respond to our calls quickly. This was one of the reasons we did not choose this company. The showroom is quite outdated, and the stock cabinets offered cost more than the custom- made ones we had built for us.
Description of Work: Drew up plans for our new kitchen which cost a lot of money. Not a dime was refunded when we decided not to hire him as our contractor. I understand that he needed to be paid for the time he spent drawing up plans, but his price was exorbitant. In good will, it would have been nice to receive even a small fraction of what we paid. We should have NEVER agreed to his payment; we will admit that.

 + -1 moreI have proceeded with another contractor and have sourced the vanity, tile and fixtures from another bathroom and kitchen specialty place by myself and the cost will be approximately 1/2 that amount.
Description of Work: A representative came to estimate my residential bathroom remodel and estimated retiling and installation of new vanity, painting, frameless shower etc at $24000; the estimate came by email and I asked for an itemized estimate but never got an answer.

Description of Work: Full remodeling of kitchen and two baths, plus other work, including electrical and carpentry. Replaced stair railing, installed new lighting.

 + 3 moreThey laid it all out on paper and told us exactly how it would go down. They showed up on time and did a great job. We gave them 1/3rd up front, 1/3rd half way through then the rest at the end of the job. They even sent us a nice Christmas gift!
Description of Work: They remodeled our kitchen. They also put a double pane window in. They did a lot of work- knocking out walls, installing new light fixtures, all new electric, new appliances and an island too.
