About us

Owner Joseph Iannotti has 12 years experience in Residential A/V. CAV Installations was started 6+ years ago and has grown each year. Most work is performed directly by Joseph Iannotti and 1 subcontractor who has 17+ years in the Cable and A/V industries. There are no licensing requirements for Low Voltage contractors in Massachusetts. A Low Voltage License is required for Rhode Island. My subcontractor does all my RI work where a Low Voltage License or permit is required. I am a Licensed Contractor in the state of RI. Reg # 35782

Joe is meticulous and did a great job. He put on shoe covers (without being asked), brought in his own cleaning supplies (he had to drill into the wall) and made sure we were satisfied and fully understood the functionality of the equipment. He also sells equipment and is very knowledgeable about the major brands and does not mark up equipment to the point that it's so expensive that you can't afford it. He's not cheap labor wise but you get what you pay for. He's proactive, friendly, and knows his business. He can be very busy but he get's the job done right. He was a referral from my lawyer and I was not disappointed in the least. He doesn't advertise but works from referrals.
