Green Wave Landscape & Horticulture Services of Rhode Island was started in North Providence in 1999 by Sebastian Sanchez. A graduate of Rhode Island College with a degree in art studio & Design, and a recent graduate of Johnson & Wales University College of Business. Sebastian has a wealth of knowledge and experience in bringing out the best in plants foliage. Sebastian has also studied landscape management and business, so you can count on Green Wave to design amazing grounds for you and your loved ones to enjoy for many seasons. We continued to use them as the service was adequate but not great, but today was the last straw. They had apparently sent us a bill e-mail in October, which we never got - or if we did it got lost in the shuffle. Fine, such things happen - and they should have sent a courteous reminder. But they didn't. We got no reminders email or regular mail, until today when we got a nasty letter from them threatening to take us to court if we didn't pay the bill. We paid it, but felt that this was really inappropriate business practice - a simple courteous reminder is the normal way to do business. (As I said, we are not aware of getting any email bills from them that we did not pay.)
In any case their service got worse, their prices got higher, and their carelessness with the dogs and the gate are good enough reason for us to look elsewhere next year.
I am very pleased with the quality of work as well as the convenience of using PayPal directly through their website to make my payments. I also appreciate the fact that they are truly a full-service landscaping company and I plan to continue to have them care for my yard in the future.

"(removed member name), you and your Husband Randy should be on Amercia's Most wanted for deceptive business practices. You were given the utmost respect and courteous service by our company. We bill to the penny exactly what our signed service agreement describes in detail. You are in default the last 3 billing cycles for your service and more than 180 days past due for services rendered, and currently under litigation for bad debts. You were sent several invoices certified mail and have written notice of receiving said bills and acknowledge the debt to be paid. I suggest buyer beware in dealing with this very deceptive condo association."
Originially contacted at the beginning of August, it took a few rescheduling times to finally get yard cleanup done due to company's request/personal problems. Communication was a problem as I was not receiving answers to questions until several days later. Once owner did reply, things were agreed on relatively quick. I wanted to have yard area re-landscaped and was promised a graphic presentation but never received it after a month. I used owners friend (consult for plants since owner was more familiar with lawns) to obtain shrubs/plants/flowers and he helped me put them in. I have not heard from this company since then.
Owner did mention that this was not an area he normally serviced but he did have a couple of companies he was mowing the lawn for. I should have picked up on that cue. Nice son and father company but not able/willing to provide services agreed upon (weekly mowing/fertilizing/shrub care).
