L D'S LAWN SERVICE

I have two old, very large trees in my front yard; one being a Chestnut tree with the prickly Chestnut casings mixing in with the leaves making yard clean-up literally painful.   Living on the water with occasional high winds over the late Fall and Winter months also results in a lot of fallen branches.  I called LD mid-February in order to get on the Spring clean-up schedule early before the season schedule started to fill-up.  They put me on the schedule for March 1st and on February 29th, I received a call to confirm the next day appointment.  I was extremely pleased when I arrived home from work today to find the front yard immaculate.  Awesome job!

My call was returned promptly and we set up an initial visit.  He was very pleasant and professional and easy to talk to. Provider was honest with me and said he could not get to the work for about 3 weeks and asked if that was okay. I said it was. He was actually able to do the work sooner than that and completed everything before the 3 week window. He did the work himself with his assistants. They did a terrific job and my flower beds haven't looked that good ever. I'd been trying to do it all myself and could not keep up. I've hired him to do my Fall and Spring clean-up on an ongoing basis.

I found LD's Lawn Service from Angie's List.  I made and appointment with Lee to see my property to estimate the cost of the job I had in mind.  Lee showed up on time as discussed.  After I explained and showed him what I wanted to accomplished, he quoted me $250.  thought at the time that it was a little more than I budgeted and told him so.  However, as he explained the amount of work to be done, I relented and agreed on the price he quoted me.  He indicated that the earliest that he could do my lawn was the week after next.  I explained to him that I needed the yard cleaned sooner than that because I was expecting an appraiser to inspect my property in a week.  He thought about it and said that he might be able to do it early next week.  He later remarked that he might be able to do it over the weekend if he could somehow manage his current schedule, but that he'll let me know.

Imagine my surprise when I came home the next day and found the yard was completed; and done in a manner that exceeded my expectations!  The price he quoted was worth every penny.  I was so blown away at the sight of my 'now" good looking lawn that I decided to give him a 10% bonus.  He mentioned to that he actually erroneously underquoted the job but will stand by his original quote.

I told Lee that I'm delighted with the work he's done and he will not only have my fall and spring cleaning business from now on but will also recommend him to my neighbors and friends in the area.

Very good job. Very intensive backbreaking work

Mr. Duncan came to give me a quote and I told him that I needed the lawn mowed right away because we were having people over the next day. The lawn was in bad shape but he was nice enough to help me out and mow the lawn right then. Did a good job too.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB. THEY ARE VERY RELIABLE. I HAVE USED THEM FOR MANY YEARS, SO I TRUST THEM. I ALSO THINK THAT THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.
