AMERICAN FLOORS

I have used them3 times in the past 3. They are my go-to for hardwood floors. Great customer service, excellent work and very fair prices! They really go out of their way to satisfy their customers. I would highly recommend to anyone!!!

American Floors did a beautiful job. The company is attentive to detail, service oriented, delivers quality work at a fair price. I would use this business again and recommend to a friend.

The floors are beautiful. They even showed our painters how to remove the radiators so that they could paint behind them, while the floors were being refinished underneath them! The office is responsive and communicative. Their prices are reasonable and consistent. We were moving across the country and had to handle many of the logistics remotely and then had to move our dates around the other contractors and weather and they were extremely accommodating. They are also contractors and though we aren't ready to take on a kitchen remodel, they had some great ideas about what we might do with that part of the house! I cannot recommend American Floors highly enough. We will use them again for sure.

I left them a check as the owner's son said they would be finished that day and to leave a check which I did.  When I returned home, my electric stove was in the middle of the kitchen and unplugged--they had used the outlet.  Also, the covers from the baseboard heat were sitting in the middle of my kitchen, and I almost tripped over them.  I called and left a message that I was going to stop the check until my stove was put back and plugged in, and the baseboard covers put back on the baseboard units in the 2 rooms.  The son showed up on Monday and gave me an attitude saying there were just some minor mistakes.  I told him when the work was completed, I would release payment on the check.  I was very dissatisfied with the work and the lack of service I received.  I would not recommend this company.

American promised a 99% dustless job.  That was important as I have had a lot of refinishing in this old farmhouse.  I tried to seal the house from dust in the past, but it settles on every surface in the whole house,  what a pain!  Seth, from American Floors, only charged an extra $50.00 for the dustless option.  What a bargain, there was virtually no dust anywhere when he was done.  He did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it.  You never really know, but I found him to be trustworthy.  I actually left him alone in the house, which I don't normally do with new contractors.  The finished job was as good as any I have had done.  I would recommend him to anyone.

I'M VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID. THE CARPETING IS LAYING NICE AND FLAT AND I CAN SEE NO SEAMS, OR ANYTHING. THEY GOT THE JOB DONE IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER AND CLEANED UP ALL OF THEIR MESS VERY NICELY.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM BECAUSE I THINK THAT THEIR WORK WAS GREAT. THEY CAME ON TIME AND THEY GOT THE JOB FINISHED WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. THEY ALSO CLEANED UP WHEN THEY WERE DONE. THE SERVICE WAS GOOD.
