I have really come to trust Valley View with the repair services I need for my car and truck. It is sometimes difficult to get a quick appointment, but I've had good luck driving down to the shop and talking to one of the mechanics. The last major service I had done was a clutch replacement on my truck. The original estimate was $575, and that was exactly what I paid (other friends have paid much more).
The original replacement did fine for maybe one week, then the truck started bucking violently when starting from a stop. I returned to the shop where a mechanic said that they could work on it by the end of the week. Some adjustments were made, and the truck was fine for another week, until it started bucking again and I could feel the clutch slipping when going up a hill. Again, I went to the shop and made another appointment. When I called the shop towards the end of the day, I spoke to the owner (who has always been straightforward and honest with me), and he said that he was replacing the clutch completely again, since one of his mechanics had not resurfaced the flywheel the first time it was replaced. Additional cost? $0. The next day I picked up the truck and it was good to go!
I would definitely recommend Valley View for repairs. The owner has been very understanding of problems that people have with their cars, and it is an incredibly busy shop because he does quality repairs without breaking the bank.
