- Simple Things is a professional textile studio specializing in the creation and fabrication of custom window treatments. - With thousands of unique and beautiful designer fabrics for you to choose from, we bring fabric swatches and design ideas to your home to help you coordinate with what you have, or to create a new decorating feel entirely. - We offer custom drapery, valances, roman shades, decorative pillows, bedding and unique soft furnishings. We also offer measuring, installation and interior finishes. - We have a low sell approach. Designs take into consideration your personal style, with the ultimate goal being to help create a beautiful, comfortable environment you can live or work with for a long time. - To make the appointment most valuable for you, you should consider your budget and from there and we can work together to make your design ideas most effectively come together. - We do not have a retail showroom - all consultations are in your home or workspace by appointment so your service is truly personalized. Our studio and workroom is located in Edgewood, Rhode Island, and we serve the greater Providence and Boston areas. - For most projects, our turnaround time is 4-6 weeks from the time we finalize your design and fabrics selections until installation. - We charge an initial consultation fee of $75 and you can expect our initial appointment to last about an hour.
