They're very nice and very good. They have nice parking. I really recommend them. They're the best vets I've used since I lived here. It's a pleasant setting. It's easy to get to and easy to park. They started with one doctor and now they have two, and they're both very, very nice and know what they're doing. They give good service at the front desk. It's clean and odorless. It's a nice place.

No matter when I've gone and what time - YOU WAIT. Before you get in and then, quite inexcusably, once you're in a room. Also there seems to be a lot of pressure for tests and vaccines which are optional. Will never go back.

She has seen us through three dogs with serious illnesses and she has never failed us once. She's just wonderful. When our last dog passed she came to the house to euthanize her. She's got a great staff, very professional building, great hours. I can't say enough about her.

After the breeder that we got our kitten from explained that some vetrinarians might not treat our kittens exotic breed, we became very worried. From the beginning of our visit everyone was very kind and loving to our kitten and though she is the only kind of her breed being treated there, they welcomed her with open arms. We were brought into a room where we were able to let her out of the cage and explore the room. After 10 minutes Dr. Barry came in, which was perfect timing because our kitten was comfortable in the room and not scared. She was very loving to our kitten, and extremely kind to us. She stayed in the room with us for about 30 minutes answering all the questions we had. Prior to picking Providence River Animal Hospital, we looked around online and felt this would be the best place, and we were absolutely right. I wouldn't bring our cat to any other place.

We LOVE Jane Linden and trust her judgment. It's clear she knows what she's doing and cares about our pets. What we don't love is the non-responsive front desk personnel who fail to follow-through on what they say they are going to do and who can be dismissive at times. We also don't love the fact that on more than one occasion, when we needed PRAH most, they were either closed or didn't answer their phone or return voice-mails. One time in particular our dog, Rocky was attacked by another dog and needed emergency treatment. When I called--well-within PRAH's posted business hours--no one answered and no one returned my call or responded to my voice-mail. Not even the next day to see if Rocky was ok. We ended up taking him to Bay State Veterinary Emergency Services in Swansea, MA (which was outstanding, by the way). Again, Jane Linden is an outstanding vet. Her staff is not.

We waited in line for over 30 minutes just to check in and than another 1 hour 30 min before we saw a vet. After getting into the room it took an extra 25 minutes and than another 30 minutes after that. Unless you want to spend the day I would go somewhere else.

She recommended a really good book for dogs with anxiety problems as well preventing them from thinking they run the home. Recommended several people that deal with this kind of behavior. Thankfully the poor experience at Ferguson's I checked out Angie's List and found a wonderful Forever Vet

My experience was great. I decided to try PRAH because I noticed Dr Barry practices there. I had seen Dr Barry at another Animal Hospital and I had several great experiences. She has always been very personable, professional, and is always 100% "there". I appreciate her undivided attention to my cat. To me this really shows her dedication to help her as best as she can. The office staff was great- very friendly and professional. They were great with setting up an appt, confirming it, and following up in regards to next steps.

Dog had to have surgery but was okay because of PRAH quick response.

We were greeted by hte most friendly and caring people I have experienced. They truly like the animals and they made me feel like member of the family. They remembered my animals name and treated them as if they were the most special animal in the clinic. The place is always clean. There was a little wait due to an emergency, but if my animal was in need of emergency care I would want them to take the time with me too. The doctor spent lots of time with me and my dog. She was helpful, complimentary, and insightful. She talked about preventative care and took the time to really check the animal over well. Though she was probably running late, I would not have known it, she spent time with us and did not make us feel rushed at all.

I love this animal hospital! The staff is so helpful and friendly, I have never had a bad experience here. You can tell that everyone who works at the hospital loves and cares about animals, and they always remember specifics about my animals. They send reminders which is nice because I can't ever remember the last time we went, and they will send discounts along when they have them for things like flea medicine. I would not want to bring my pets anywhere else!

I was brought into the exam room and waited approximately 1/2 hour for Dr. Corey. They said there was an emergency and apologized for the wait. I usually have to wait there though, and 1/2 hour is not uncommon. Dr. Corey gave my cat a thorough exam and gave her a clean bill of health. Dr. Corey is a little less gentle than Dr. Linden, who is usually the doctor and who makes my cat instantly at ease. I was billed for the exam and shot which is always more than I expect, but the service is good and location is convenient.

My dog was very ill and I was taken in the same day despite not having been a patient or having an appointment. The team there was very responsive and caring. They followed up for 3 days to make sure that my dog was still doing well. They even sent my dog a hand written "get well" card. I feel lucky to have found a local vet that is so excellent.

My dog was repeatedly mis-diagnosed. The care was given with attitude and the prices were exorbitant. Finally I went to a great Vet, Atlantic Veterinary in Marblehead Mass. Along way to go for me, but well worth it. He made me promise not to use the same Vet again. He also charges less than 1/3 for teeth cleaning and his manner is just wonderful.

We have a very old cat with lots of health problems. Because of the nature of those problems the cat has to go to a specialist 40 miles away. Dr. Linden, who is much neared to where we live, agreed to test and help maintain the cat. She consulted with the specialist vet, and provided lots of support and care. When the cat went into crisis she was immediate and invaluable in her response. While we still need to go to the specialist for the cat, she is our exclusive vet for our dog. Recommended VERY highly!

They were great! We were 20 minutes late for the appointment because the cat wouldn't get in the car, but they were very accommodating. The cat got its rabies shot and the doctor also gave advice on how to treat the cat's eye infection.
