The owner Marilyn and her employees are nice people, but they have a real scheduling problem. Twice we were given installation dates and no one called to say they were behind schedule even though we called ahead of time and were told they were running on time. Imagine the frustration of taking time out of work ( twice) only to find out when we called at the end of the day that they were not coming! Marilyn was sympathetic, but it became very clear that she is at the mercy of her installation contractors. This was a very active year because so many pools collapsed in RI over the winter, but communication is key in business, and we feel that they are lacking in this area. The pool is nice, the installation itself went well, but the frustration before our pool was installed makes us recommend buying a pool from a bigger pool company.

I highly recommend this company as they did a terrific job making a custom pool liner for me and new stairs. I have an older pool and this was the best way to go for my situation. I had an old pool liner and it did not last but the one from Modern Pool is much thicker and even though I just had it installed towards the end of last summer, I just know it will out last the last old one that I had. I found Modern Pool very easy to deal with. They also do pool maintenance and I plan to use them from now on.
