We had Falcon Hardwood Flooring install one hardwood floor and refinish two others. That meant clearing out three rooms of furniture. The day they started the floors, we left for North Carolina to visit family for a week giving them all the needed time to complete the job and let it cure. When we returned and inspected the floors we were not at all satisfied with the two floors that were refinished. The new floor came out fantastic. The next day we called Falcon and explained the issues. They were not argumenative at all and two days latter came and sanded the floor again and put another coat down. We had to once again leave the hose for a night and hold off moving furniture back into the house for a few more days. The end result was what I expected the first time. just wondering why it wasn't done right the first time.

This is the second time we have used Andy (Falcon Home Improvement) and he did a wonderful job.  He shows up when he says he is going to and works very hard.  We are renovating my mother-in-law's home on a tight budget so we can sell it to pay for her care.  He worked around our schedule and the floors came out great.  Highly recommend.

The job was split up into two. first he did the bedroom, dining room, and office. After the third coat, the surface was still rough and required a fourth coat that he did at no additional charge. When he came back to do the main living area, he showed up a day later than he originally told us when we first agreed to hire him for the job. From that point on, he seemed to be in a rush and stated he had other jobs to do and made it seem like our job was no longer a priority. During the second half of the job the temperature outside increased so he requested that we leave the air conditioning on, so I did. As he was applying the third and final coat, he stated that the floor was drying too quick and he needed to shut the air conditioning off. However, he had already applied the poly where the control panel was for the heating and air-conditioning and there was nothing I could do. The next day when I came home from work and looked at the floors, I was not happy at all. There were areas that were not polyurethaned, footprints in the polyurethane, and poly urethane drippings on the floor and on every mop board and doorknob in my house. There were also areas where the polyurethane was applied against the natural grain of the wood that looked terrible. When I contacted him with my concerns, he stated he would come out and put a fourth coat yet I was so disappointed with the workmanship that I did not feel a fourth coat would fix all of the issues. Also, as this was a whole house project and as I had been living out of a suitcase for two weeks in my own home, I had reached my limit. In my opinion, when he first accepted the job, I believe that I was the only job that he had on the books. Upon starting the second phase of the job, I feel that he overextended himself and unfortunately it showed on the job he did at my house the second time around. In closing, I would not recommend him to anyone I know.

Andy from Falcon home improvement is a professional and a humble man. He showed up on time and did the job that he said he would do. The floor he installed is 400 sq. feet in the lower level of our split level raise range in Scituate RI. I highly recommend him and I plan on having him over again to install hardwood floors in my office and one bedroom. The floor he installed in December 2014 was a ceramic floor that looks like a wide plank pine floor. We purchased the floor. He was paid for the labor only, so, he will work with you if you purchase the floor . He is a professional of the highest caliber, you will be satisfied.

I saw the Falcon Home Improvement van at my neighbors house and since I had been meaning to find a new flooring guy to refinish my hardwoods, I approached Andy and saw that he had done an excellent job refinishing my neighbors floors.
He gave me his business card and we went right ahead to schedule an appointment for a free estimate. He was able to come the next day at the exact time that we had scheduled. I couldn't believe what an incredible PRICE he had given me especially in comparison to some of the bigger names out there. With sanding, staining (3 coats) AND REPAIRS (I supplied the wood) he only charged $600 for an area of about 300 square feet. Previous flooring guys had come and wanted to charge me nearly $1400 or more to do the same thing. It was a big deal for me to not use someone already on Angie's List but I went ahead and went through with it!
The first day he came at 8 am  (with much consideration of my schedule) and arrived on time and ready to work. He had his team mate there, Jose, who was also enthusiastic and ready to work. I was supposed to have everything moved out of the area for the day they started but I wasn't too talented on finding another place to move the fridge. Andy and Jose, without a problem, figured out a way to get the fridge out of the area that was being sanded. That was a relief!
I left the house and went to work for a bit to give them some space so that they could get started without me distracting them. When I came back towards the end of the day I was AMAZED! The floors looked absolutely incredible even with just the 2nd coat on. I am so HAPPY that I went with Falcon Home Improvement. Andy is a great guy who is very PROFESSIONAL and know what he is doing. He was able to work around my busy schedule and still get my floors done within a very short period of time
FALCON HOME IMPROVEMENT HAS MY GREATEST REFERRAL!
