Our dishwasher melted down so Whirlpool gave us a deal on a new one and had it installed. Danny’s came to put it in, but they did not get it level and it was not completely under the counter. We called and asked them to fix it and they sent someone in just a couple of days. The second installer, Luisander, did a marvelous job. He was professional and friendly and did not give up until it was perfect. I was very pleased that Danny’s wanted to make sure it was done right.

Purchased two appliance from Danny's. Prior to my purchase I read up on the company and reviews, thou I was hesitant to purchase refurbished appliance, i decided to move forward. Dish washer is working fine it's been a year later. The refrigerator to this day still leaks and it has been well over a year. Because I was skeptical to purchase refurbished items, I purchased extend warranty to cover me for the year. 2 months after I purchased the refrigerator, it started leaking and going warm. I had the technician come out several times after that, in which they have on record. After all said in done. I reminded the company how they would honor to swap out my refrigerator in which they suggested. After calling several times to have my refrigerator swapped and left message for owner. I have yet heard or received a call back. I spent a good amount of money on my appliance and specifically decided to go with a higher brand to avoid any complications. I year later, I am stuck with a leaking refrigerator that gets warm when it feels like it and a warranty that covered absolutely nothing but a bunch of technicians that tried to come out and replace parts in which they had no clue if that what was causing the issue. This has been an experience in which had reminded me to purchase appliance brand new and sometimes you get what you pay for. I am extremely disappointed

Danny's Appliance was contracted out through Home Depot to install our new dishwasher. Devin (who I later learned was the owner's son) came out and disconnected our old appliance and then attempted to install our new one. At that time, we found out that there was a pipe blocking the install area (we'd recently bought the house) so Devin suggested we call a plumber and he'd be back once the pipe was moved/removed. He and his assistant proceeded to roll our old dishwasher out and water started leaking everywhere onto our newly installed floors and carpeting. He told his assistant to "just move faster". They left without coming back in to wipe up the water and we were left to clean up the trail they left behind. In addition, an hour after they left, we noticed that there was about 2" of water collecting under our sink storage cabinet area. Eventually we figured out that they had turned on a water pipe and had not shut it off before leaving. I called Danny's Appliance to ask what to do (before we figured out it was just a pipe that was running everywhere) and the receptionist said she would try to contact Devin....he couldn't be reached, so she said she would have his father call him since he might ignore the store's calls but probably not his dad's..... When Devin called us back he seemed annoyed that he might have to come back out, and wasn't even the slightest bit apologetic that they'd left a water pipe running when they'd left. ......I would like to say things then took a turn for the better, but they did not. After calling our plumber, we found out that the pipe behind the dishwasher area was actually our main drain and it could not be removed, meaning we could not install the particular model we'd purchased through Home Depot. After setting up the return through Home Depot, we called Danny's Appliance back to request that they come and disconnect the dishwasher, as they'd partially connected the plumbing and we were told by Devin that they didn't do that and that I could disconnect it myself and use duct tape to close the open drain. I was annoyed by this and asked him to check with his FATHER since I now knew he was employed by him, and his reply was that he would have to call me back. He never called. And now when our dishwasher is going to be picked up by Home Depot, we will be left with an open drain (and a useless sink) until a new dishwasher can be delivered and installed. What terrible customer service and overall service in general.

Good job but he left a pan of water down stairs in the basement. I think he should've emptied it. In and out in 15 minutes.

I called Best Buy immediately and filed a claim. A third party appliance tech was sent to determine if the installation caused the leak. He confirmed that it was in fact an install issue, and the dishwasher was leaking in two places, which the installer should have seen and corrected right away. Very long story short, after countless phone calls and dealings with Best Buy, Optima, etc., Danny's showed up 3 weeks later completely unannounced, and denied all liability for the water damage. He claimed there would be water under the dishwasher if the leak came from there, but it had been 3 weeks and the puddle of water under my dishwasher had of course dried. We had disconnected the water supply to stop the leak. But the damage is still there on my neighbors ceilings. My boyfriend and I asked why he was showing up 3 weeks later, and told him that a third party had come and determined it WAS an install issue. Danny proceeded to say how he doesn't trust the third party because they stole their contract... very unprofessional. He proceeded to speak to us in a very unprofessional manner. He then tried to reconnect the dishwasher without my permission, so we asked him not to touch it, and he left.
It has now been 2 months since the installation and I still have the dishwasher sitting in my kitchen and my neighbors still have water damage. The claim continues to drag on because Danny's, Optima, and Best Buy all refuse to take responsibility for what was clearly an installation issue.
Never in my life have I experienced such awful service.

My experience with this company was very poor.  The service person was pretty unreliable and he had wild timing as to when he is going to be here.  He did not show up during the times he specified and he came much later.  The original repair did not work.  When I called and said that it is not working he said that he needed to come out and look.  It was difficult to schedule a time when I could be here and he was available to come.  Then after a bit, he would call and wanted me to confirm if it was still not working which is what I had informed him four days ago.  So while he was going around in circles all I needed to do was exactly what I needed him to do in the first place.  The refrigerator got fixed but I think I paid too much money.  Basically the deal was that they would do a service call and if they could not fix the fridge they would apply the cost of the service calls towards the refrigerator and it would be like a used one that is repaired.  The repair was $175 and I think they picked a number that was below for what I would pay for a new one.  As for professionalism he left old parts around the kitchen and when I called him and said something he did not even remember how much he charged me.  I will not use them again.
