Mister Sparky was the only contractor/subcontractor that never held up the job. The entire project took about six months. Mister Sparky was here about 15 days in about 10 different visits. They always showed up on time, did excellent work and cleaned throughly up before they left. There was 3 difference electricians that showed up at different times. They always coordinated well between themselves and with other contractors. All were are courteous and friendly. They always asked question about things they were not sure about and made useful suggestions alternatives and improvement to the project.
Mister Sparky's initial quote was $9500. Several items were added. They always provided quotes up front for additional work. The costs were fair and everything was completed as quoted. The asked for reasonable progress payments. About 1/2 early, and the last $1000 (about 10%) was not required until after final inspection approval.
They also were very flexible and did not nickel-dime us. Small items/modifications were done at no cost. For example, we need to remove the power meter to put new siding on the original part of the house and one electrician showed up for about 2 hrs on that day without adding cost. We had a fan and light fixture on back order and they came back to install that several weeks after the job was completed without any cost.
I wish all the contractors on the job were as professional at Mister Sparky.
