The service was awesome. Mike Southworth is the owner and there are occasions when he cannot come but he always communicates why that is and that is very appreciated. I will certainly use him often and he seems very knowledgeable. He is a sweet guy and he was great around my wife and kids.

Great -- Michael is great to work with. Keeps you informed every step of the way from estaimate through final install. Also, help us specify and choose the windows that would be most satisfactory for our application. Really knows windows as once worked for Marvin Distributor. Has worked in windows/contracting for 30 or more years. Nice person who goes the final mile to get it done on time and within budget.

Great. Mike really made every effort to do the work on time and on budget. Result is beautiful. We were living in upstairs at the time, and they did all they could to keep dust and mess clearned up so we could at least go through the kitchen. Very professional with a lot of good design ideas too.

Several issues occurred due to work performed by prior H/O or their contractor. [member name removed] and I worked together for proper solution(s) to these as they were discovered. Most were able to be within the original scope of work but when additional charges came up the costs were kept to a minimum and all agreed it was necessary. Mike is delightful to work with. He gives genuine thought in his estimates and designs and really works with you to come up with the best end result. He is highly professional in his estimates and billing and has reasonable deposits. While not the absolute cheapest, he provides very good value for a specialty carpenter.
I had two urgent projects, both of which he completed with minimal supervision after the initial estimate. The custom bed required quite a bit of email back and forth (he also sends pictures) since it was definitely a nonstandard piece of furniture. He surprised me with a beautiful two-tone wood top that really carried the nautical theme. I then came up with the third project which I originally avoided due to not having someone reliable to execute. That came in significantly lower cost than I expected.
I had trouble with several other people getting them to return calls, visit, etc. Mike is a great guy who I will hire for all my future specialty carpentry projects.
